It’s hard to believe we are a month into the season! The good news is that we have actionable data to analyze and identify which players to target. Let’s take a look at who stands out to me tonight.

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NHL DFS Picks
Yanni Gourde - DK $2.6K || FD $3.9K
Opponent - Nashville Predators
Gourde is the perfect type of value play I love for Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS). He is essentially minimum-priced on both DraftKings (DK) and FanDuel (FD), which means he will likely be overlooked on this slate. This is why, here at RotoBaller, we always strive to find an edge.
Gourde is on the roster for a reason beyond just having one goal this season. He currently ranks third on the Kraken in several key metrics:
- **SCF/60 (Scoring Chances For per 60 minutes)**
- **XGF/60 (Expected Goals For per 60 minutes)**
- **HDCF/60 (High Danger Chances For per 60 minutes)**, where he boasts an impressive number of 14.19.
Just like last week, when we successfully predicted Dmitri Voronkov scoring his second goal of the season, I believe Gourde will come through for us tonight against the Predators.

Opponent - Buffalo Sabres
Moore has had a rough start to the year, but he has begun to find his groove recently, posting two goals, three assists, and 11 shots in his last four games. However, this is where we at RotoBaller can identify valuable insights.
Most people may notice his two goals for the season and overlook him, especially with players like Matthew Knies and Jamie Benn available at similar prices. Yet, on home ice, he ranks third on the Kings with 36.33 shots on goal per 60 minutes (SF/60), second with 26.91 scoring chances per 60 minutes (SCF/60), and has an impressive 12.78 high-danger chances per 60 minutes (HDCF/60).

I'm a big fan of selecting defensemen priced under $5K who log over 20 minutes of ice time each game, shoot the puck frequently, and manage to block a few shots.
Take Harley, for example -- he's recorded eight shots and three blocks over his last two games. Tonight, he faces a Sharks team that allows the second-most shots to defensemen on the road in the NHL. Additionally, if you’re considering stacking the line of Benn, Wyatt Johnston, and Logan Stankoven, Harley gets the most 5-on-5 ice time with them while playing at home.
