Injury Status: Injured Reserve
Injury: Thumb
When asked if he has thought at all about Sunday possibly having been quarterback Lamar Jackson's (thumb) last game as a Raven, Baltimore Ravens head coach Jesse Minter said, "No," on Monday, according to Brian Wacker of The Baltimore Sun. Jackson injured his right thumb on the team's first offensive play in the Week 8 loss to the Buffalo Bills and never returned, and Minter said after the contest on Sunday that the 29-year-old signal-caller would likely need season-ending surgery and be placed on Injured Reserve. It is a major blow to the Ravens' postseason hopes, and things only got worse when backup Tyler Huntley suffered a turf-toe injury in the same game. Huntley is expected to miss extended time as well, leaving undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano (ankle) as the only QB currently on the roster. Jackson, a two-time MVP, has become very injury-prone and also missed three games with a high-ankle sprain this year. Still, the generational talent is expected to remain in Baltimore's long-term plans as one of the best dual-threat QBs in the game when he is healthy. Once it is confirmed that Jackson is out for the year, fantasy managers can drop him in single-year leagues.

Lamar Jackson 2026 Fantasy Football Outlook: Star Quarterback Ready to Run Again on Healthy Legs
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson couldn't overcome early injuries and inconsistency to approach the standard set by his QB1 finish in 2024. The two-time MVP completed 192-of-302 passes for 2,549 yards and a 21:7 TD-to-INT ratio, rushing 67 times for 349 yards and two scores. He suffered a hamstring injury in Week 3 that worsened in Week 4, which led to three games missed. This came after three straight top-four fantasy finishes to open the year. Likely related to this, he later dealt with knee, ankle, and toe injuries, which further limited his mobility. It helps the team when you can hand it off to Derrick Henry rather than risk the QB, but it hurts Jackson's fantasy managers. As a result, he took a career-high sack rate and never had another top-six performance in his other nine games played. However, we still saw a robust 13.3 yards per completion, and the 29-year-old shouldn't carry these injuries into 2026. Our site rank and the market are buying right back in near his ADP of 43, as Jackson remains the second QB off of most draft boards.less...
