NFL Underdog Predictions - Week 12 DFS Prop Picks for Monday, November 27, 2023

T.J. Hockenson - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Week 12 Underdog NFL DFS prop picks for Monday, November 27, 2023 by Josh Costello. Use his NFL over/under props recommendations to win money on Underdog.

Happy Monday, RotoBallers! Welcome to our Underdog Fantasy NFL DFS prop picks for the game on Monday, November 27, 2023. Welcome to our brand new NFL DFS series covering Underdog Fantasy contests! We will continue to focus on the NFL DFS props offered on Underdog called Higher/Lower (Over/Under).

Higher/Lower is traditional over/under DFS prop picks -- whether you think a player will score Over or Under the set lines, and choosing your amount. You can parlay multiple picks together to vastly increase the juice (e.g., three picks = 6x your bet). Underdog Fantasy offers some of the industry's best and easiest-to-win NFL DFS games. At Underdog Fantasy, you're not playing against other people -- you're just playing against the projections.

Justin Fields, 255.5 Pass + Rush Yards (LOWER)

Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields will have his work cut out for him on Monday night against the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings rank in the top 10 in rush defense and defensive coverage against receivers, so it could be a rough outing for Fields. The Bears quarterback has accrued more than 256 total yards four times in the seven games he has played, but those performances came against much lesser defenses.

Alexander Mattison, 43.5 Rushing Yards (LOWER)

Minnesota Vikings running back Alexander Mattison has been one of the most inefficient rushers this season, and his matchup this week does not look pretty. The Chicago Bears have allowed the fewest rushing yards and yards per carry this season. The Vikings starter has had 44 or fewer rushing yards in eight of 11 games this season. Mattison's inefficiency could also lead to Ty Chandler receiving a more significant workload. The Vikings will likely gain most of their yards through the air.

Khalil Herbert, 53.5 Rushing Yards (LOWER)

Chicago Bears running back Khalil Herbert returned from the injured list last week against the Detroit Lions. The tough matchup led to Herbert only gaining 35 rushing yards on 16 carries. This week's matchup against the Vikings is not much easier. The Vikings have allowed the fourth-fewest yards per carry and seventh-fewest rushing yards this season. With D'Onta Foreman out, Herbert should see more work, but that does not mean he will succeed.

Roschon Johnson, 6.5 Receiving Yards (HIGHER)

Chicago Bears running back Roschon Johnson has not been heavily involved in the rushing attack, but he has been utilized in the passing game. Johnson has eclipsed seven receiving yards in six of his nine games this season. Facing a strong Vikings rush defense and offense, the Bears may need to lean more on the pass. With D'Onta Foreman out, Johnson should have more opportunities to produce.

Cole Kmet, 4.0 Receptions (HIGHER)

Chicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet is a focal point of the Bears passing attack and they may be forced into more passing situations in this matchup. The Minnesota Vikings not only have a strong rush defense, but they also have an explosive offense. If the Vikings pull out to an early lead, the Bears may be forced to pass to catch up. With D.J. Moore being the big play threat, Kmet is the easy outlet. Kmet has four or more receptions in seven of 11 games this season.

T.J. Hockenson, 60.5 Receiving Yards (HIGHER)

Minnesota Vikings tight end T.J. Hockenson is arguably the top option in the offense without star wide receiver Justin Jefferson in the lineup. Since the arrival of Josh Dobbs in Minnesota, Hockenson has seen double-digit targets in two of three games. Facing one of the best rush defenses, the Vikings may lean more on Hockenson and the receivers this week. If Hockenson remains involved in the passing attack, 61 receiving yards should be easy to reach.
