NFL Prop Bet Picks for Super Bowl LVI - DraftKings Super Bowl Specials

Ja'Marr Chase - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, DFS and Betting Picks

Top NFL prop bet picks and betting advice for Super Bowl LVI. Kipp Heisterman gives an in-depth gambling preview for the big game and his winning bets.

Super Sunday is finally here! Super Bowl LVI will match the Cincinnati Bengals against the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on Sunday, February 13th. The spread currently sits at Rams -4.5 with a total of 49.

That being said, we are not here to discuss spreads and totals. Oh no, we are here to discuss the props that are currently out on the market on DraftKings Sportsbook and see which of them we can attack with confidence.

In this article, I will cover some of my favorite props listed under the Super Bowl Specials section of the DraftKings Sportsbook. You can check out some of my other favorite Super Bowl props for Monkey Knife Fight or PrizePicks, also. Let's get to the bets already, shall we?

Super Bowl MVP

Matthew Stafford (+100)

We are going to start with the favorite when it comes to the MVP section. The quarterback of the winning team has won the MVP in seven of the previous 10 Super Bowls and in each of the previous two Super Bowls. Stafford has a solid matchup in this game and should be able to put up a solid stat line against a Bengals defense that allowed the sixth-most passing yards to quarterbacks on the season.

Player Specials

Ja'Marr Chase, Cooper Kupp, Odell Beckham Jr., and Tee Higgins each have over 49.5 receiving yards (+160)

I wish the odds were a little better for us here, but Vegas knows this prop is quite plausible. The toughest matchup of this bunch goes to Ja'Marr Chase, who will be up against Rams' star cornerback, Jalen Ramsey. That being said, Ramsey has been lit up a bit in these playoffs and Chase could see some action in the screen game against this Rams pass rush. Each of these receivers combined has played 12 games in the playoffs and they have eclipsed this total in 11 of those 12 games. The only one not to reach 50 in all three of their playoff games is Tee Higgins, who had just 10 receiving yards in the Wild Card round. He should see plenty of targets in this one; however, with Ramsey likely on Chase most of the game.

Novelty Props

Jersey Number of First TD Scorer under 23.5 (-140)

This is a fun prop that will include a number of players on each team. For the Rams, we will have access to Cooper Kupp (#10), Cam Akers (#23), Odell Beckham Jr. (#3), Matthew Stafford (#9), and Van Jefferson (#12). For the Bengals, we will have access to Joe Burrow (#9) and Ja'Marr Chase (#1). We are basically trying to fade a Joe Mixon first touchdown as well as Tee Higgins, Tyler Boyd, or any tight end on either squad.

Game Specials

Super Bowl 56 Winning Margin over 8.5 (-110)

We were treated to a lot of solid Super Bowls over the previous decade, but each of the previous three has ended with spreads above 8.5 points. This one feels like it could go the same way in favor of the Los Angeles Rams. The matchup to watch in this game will be the Bengals' offensive line vs. the Rams' defensive line. The Bengals allowed the third-most sacks in the league this season while the Rams recorded the third-most sacks in the league. One turnover deep in their own territory for this Bengals offense could spell disaster for them in this game and lead to the Rams pulling away by nine or more points.
