NFL DFS Prop Picks for Monkey Knife Fight - Lions vs. Packers Monday Night Football

Aaron Rodgers - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Targets, NFL Injury News

Kipp Heisterman presents his expert NFL DFS prop picks for Week 2's Monday Night Football of the Fantasy Football season. Use these prop picks to win money on Monkey Knife Fight, our partner for all DFS prop picks games.

Welcome to Monday Night Football between the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers! Tonight's game means our friends at Monkey Knife Fight are offering some fantastic props for us to play.

Our friends at Monkey Knife Fight offer some of the coolest, and easiest to win, NFL DFS games in the industry. There are no massive tournaments where you have to get ridiculously lucky just to cash because, at MKF, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the house, and the dudes at MKF have fallen all over themselves to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a $100 deposit bonus.

As always, there are some solid props we can look to take advantage of in tonight's game, so let's get to the picks!

Lions @ Packers More or Less Contest

Recommended Prop Pick:

Aaron Rodgers more than 295.5 passing yards and Jared Goff less than 258.5 passing yards

While I do not think Aaron Rodgers will be required to throw for nearly 300 passing yards in this game, I think he is absolutely angry about last week's performance against the Saints and will take it out on this Lions Defense at home on Monday night. The Lions allowed Jimmy G to throw up 314 passing yards against them last week and in 2020, they ranked third-worst in terms of passing yards per game allowed to the quarterback position. In 2020, they also allowed Aaron Rodgers to throw for 530 yards across two games. Look for the Packers to come out throwing it in this one and attacking a very weak Lions secondary.

While I think Goff will have to throw it a ton in order for the Lions to win this game, I do not think the Packers Defense will allow him to get over this total. The Packers allowed just 237 passing yards per game in 2020 and Goff went over this total in just half of his games in 2020. The Packers also did not give up the big play last week as Winston threw for just 148 passing yards despite throwing five touchdowns. It should also be noted that only six quarterbacks went over this total against the Packers in 2020 and Jared Goff was not one of them as he threw for just 174 yards in a Divisional ROund matchup.

Lions @ Packers Touchdown Dance

Recommended Prop Pick:

Devante Adams, Aaron Jones, and D'Andre Swift to combine for more than 1.5 touchdowns

This contest has to start with Adams since we are on the more than for Rodgers' passing yards. Adams saw just seven targets last week, but the Packers were frequently without the ball in last week's matchup against the Saints. In 2020, Adams saw an average of 9.3 targets per game and hauled in a ridiculous 18 touchdowns. He will be facing the Lions who allowed 49ers wide receivers to account for 219 receiving yards and two touchdowns last Sunday. Adams is a must in this spot.

When the Packers decide to run the ball, Aaron Jones will be the focal point and that is great news as this Lions Defense allowed running backs to average nearly 116 rushing yards per game and gave up 29 combined rushing and receiving touchdowns to the position in 2020. Jones also had his biggest game of 2020 at home against these Lions when he rushed for 168 yards and two scores while also hauling in four receptions for 68 yards and a score.

We are required to pick a player from the Lions in this contest, so D'Andre Swift makes sense, especially after he logged a full practice on Saturday. The weakest part of the Packers Defense is their run D as they allowed backs to rush for an average of nearly 92 yards per game and gave up 14 rushing touchdowns and five receiving touchdowns to backs in 2020. Swift carried the ball 11 times last week, but also hauled in eight of 11 targets, so he will be involved throughout the game no matter the score and makes for a solid play on that side of the game.

Lions @ Packers Reception Collection

Devante Adams, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and T.J. Hockenson more than 19.5 receptions

We are going to stick with Adams here as he will be the surefire target hog in this Packers offense for the reasons mentioned above.

Valdes-Scantling is the number two wide receiver in this offense and it showed last week as he was targeted eight times against the New Orleans Saints. He will be going up against Lions cornerback, Jeff Okudah, who gave up a ridiculous 31.9 fantasy points to 49ers wide receivers a week ago. Valdes-Scantling should be locked in as the number two target this week and should certainly help bolster the total number of receptions in this one.

Hockenson has quickly become a favorite of Jared Goff as he was targeted 11 times last week against the 49ers and managed to haul in eight of them for 97 yards and a touchdown. Due to the fact that the Packers' cornerbacks are rather tough to throw on, it would certainly make sense for Hockenson to be the favorite target again in this one for Goff.
