We are back again, RotoBallers! What a disaster the last week of the NFL was. The fantasy and betting gods were not in my favor this past weekend. Hopefully, we can turn it around here, though, as we have quite the matchup between the Patriots and the Jets. This could be a defensive-heavy matchup, so finding the spots to get an edge will be slim. FanDuel has also made it very difficult on us as anyone below 8K is nearly unusable, so a more balanced build may be the way to go on this slate.

Rhamondre Stevenson - RB, $17,100 (DK), $15,000 (FD)
Key Stats
- 2024 Stats: 201 rushing yards, two touchdowns, and 15 yards on five receptions
Rhamondre has looked lights out this season. He has a touchdown in both games so far and has even been a small focus in the passing game, getting eight targets. The only consistent play for the Patriots this season has been him. My only worry is that if this game gets out of hand early, he may see a drop in his attempts, which would impact his fantasy score heavily.

Aaron Rodgers - QB, $15,000 (DK), $14,000 (FD)
If this game ends up being a passing attack, I want Aaron Rodgers. The Patriots gave up 327 passing yards last week to the Seahawks as DK Metcalf and Jaxon Smith-Njigba torched the Patriots secondary. If Geno Smith can do it, then I know Aaron Rodgers can. That being said, it does make multiple Jets WRs viable as well and maybe it's time for the Garrett Wilson breakout game of the season...

Flex Plays - NFL DFS Lineup Picks
Garrett Wilson - WR, $10,200 (DK), $13,000 (FD)
Key Stats
- 2023 Stats: 95 receptions, 1,042 receiving yards, and three touchdowns
This is the perfect spot for Garrett Wilson to pop off. DK Metcalf finished with 129 yards and Ja'Marr Chase finished with 62 yards against the Patriots defense. The secondary is exploitable, and hopefully, we get the game we have been waiting for this season from Wilson.
Hunter Henry - TE, $7,800 (DK), $11,000 (FD)
I like this play much more over on DraftKings as his price isn't overly inflated from a stacked Week 2 game. Hunter was the only player with more than five targets in the last game against the Seahawks and it served him well as he brought in eight catches on 12 targets. Jacoby Brissett seemed to have trust in his TE more than in any of his wide receivers at the moment.

Value Plays - NFL DFS Lineup Picks
Joey Slye - K, $4,800 (DK), $8,500 (FD)
The Patriots are only scoring on 37.5% of red-zone trips this season, and I believe that with this being a defensive-heavy game, we could see a lot of field goals in it. The 49ers kicked six field goals in Week 1 against the Jets. We could see Joey Slye finish with 10+ fantasy points, which I will gladly take from a kicker.
Mike Williams - WR, $6,200 (DK), $9,000 (FD)
It is an ugly play, I know, but Mike Williams saw his snap rate skyrocket from Week 1 to Week 2 as he went from only playing 18% of snaps to 65%. He only finished with one target but it was a catch for 19 yards, which is a good sign.
If Rodgers and Williams can get on the same page, they could be a lethal duo this week considering the Patriots pass defense is seventh worst in the league at the moment.
