NFL DFS Lineup Picks For FanDuel, DraftKings - Rams vs. Eagles Showdown (Divisional Weekend)

Saquon Barkley - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, DFS Lineup Picks

Koby's favorite DFS plays from the Eagles-Rams Divisional Round playoff game for single game contests on FanDuel and DraftKings.

Welcome back, RotoBallers! Hopefully, everyone's Wild Card Weekend resulted in some winning lineups. We got a great slate for the Divisional Round. For this game, we have the L.A. Rams (11-7) traveling to Philadelphia to take on the (15-3) Eagles!

We have been pretty successful with these showdown slates, and hopefully, that trend will continue from last year into this year. Most of us started our fantasy journeys with football, so it's always nice when it comes around. I'll do my best to provide you with as much in-depth analysis as possible regarding positional matchups.

I will provide you with daily fantasy football picks on FanDuel and DraftKings for the Rams vs. Eagles NFL DFS showdown on January 19. These NFL DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on both DraftKings and FanDuel. If you have any questions, follow me on X @DFSKoby and fire away, or sign up for a premium RotoBaller NFL package and chat with me and other NFL DFS analysts whenever you'd like!

Editor's Note: The FFPC Playoff Challenge #2 is back with a massive $100,000 grand prize and $203,250 total prize pool, paying down to 100th place. Here's the deal: no salary cap, no draft, no pickups, no subs. Choose 8 players, and as NFL teams get knocked out so will your players, so choose your team wisely. The entries will sell out quickly, and registrations will close on Saturday January 17th at 4:30 pm ET . Don't wait - get your team now and end your fantasy football season with a shot at $100,000! MVP/Captain Plays

Saquon Barkley - RB, Philadelphia Eagles - $16.8K (DK), $16K (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2024 Stats: 2,124 rushing yards, 13 rushing touchdowns, 35 receptions, 282 receiving yards, two receiving touchdowns

This one is obvious, but Barkley has been unstoppable this season. Even though he didn't end up with a touchdown last week, he still finished with 17 FP on the day. He gets a matchup that he dominated during the regular season, though.

The Rams gave up 255 rushing yards and two touchdowns to Saquon in Week 12. He finished with 49 FP in this game, one of the season's highest-scoring days!

DeVonta Smith - WR, Philadelphia Eagles - $12K (DK), $11K (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2024 Stats: 93 targets, 72 receptions, 888 receiving yards, eight touchdowns

All the other captains I listed below are great options, too. I did want to get a little different for the GPP guys. This could be a sneaky play at captain, especially on DK where he is a lot cheaper, allowing you to afford more top-tier players in your flex spots.

DeVonta Smith gets a solid matchup in the slot, where he plays 56% of the time. He should line up against Quentin Lake, who is giving up .27 FP per route run this season. Unfortunately, Smith didn't play in the previous matchup.

With A.J. Brown dealing with a knee injury, he could be limited slightly. We could see an uptick in usage for Smith, making him a great option to get different with, especially at a much lower price.

Other Captains/MVPs: Jalen Hurts, Puka Nacua, Cooper Kupp, A.J. Brown

DFS Flex Plays

Matthew Stafford- QB, L.A. Rams - $9.2K (DK), $11.5K (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2024 Stats: 544 passing attempts, 359 completions, 3,971 passing yards, 22 passing touchdowns, eight interceptions

The Eagles defense has been stout against opposing quarterbacks this season, but if this game gets out of hand early, Stafford is going to be throwing the ball quite a bit.

In their last matchup, he threw the ball 36 times, two for touchdowns, which resulted in his fourth-highest-scoring game of the season. The Eagles are near touchdown favorites in this one, so I expect Stafford to come out throwing quite a bit. I like the discount we get on him, too.

Dallas Goedert - TE, Philadelphia Eagles - $5.8K (DK), $10K (FD)

Goedert is questionable at the moment with an illness but I can't see him missing this critical game. Especially with such a good matchup, as the Rams are giving up the second-most fantasy points to opposing TEs this season.

He was targeted six times and caught four passes for 47 yards and an amazing touchdown to put the game away last week. He didn't do too much in their previous matchup, but I like Goedert to be a big part of their game plan on Sunday.

Other Flex Options: Puka Nacua, Cooper Kupp, Tyler Higbee

DFS Value Plays

Demarcus Robinson - WR, L.A. Rams - $4K (DK), $8K (FD)

Demarcus Robinson only saw two targets in last week's win against Minnesota but still played in over 70% of the snaps, which was even more than Cooper Kupp played in. With Stafford likely throwing the ball quite a bit in this one, I'll take a shot on Robinson to catch a few and maybe we get a deep touchdown throw to him in this one.

Philadelphia Eagles - DEF,  - $5.4K (DK), $9K (FD)

The value of this slate is atrocious. I don't like playing defenses but the weather isn't looking great, so I might not play the kickers in this one. The Eagles have played solid defense recently and have had eight interceptions across the last four weeks. If they get out to a lead early, Stafford could get careless with the ball, resulting in interceptions.

Other Value Plays: Tyler Higbee, Kenneth Gainwell, Jahan Dotson

Enjoy your week, and good luck, everyone!
