NFL DFS Lineup Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings - 49ers vs. Seahawks TNF Showdown

Christian McCaffrey - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, DFS Lineup Picks

John's top NFL DFS lineup picks for FanDuel, DraftKings - 49ers vs. Seahawks showdown slate on 12/15. His Thursday Night Football daily fantasy football advice.

Welcome back, RotoBallers! We're back at it again with some Week 15 Thursday Night Football action! Amazon Prime might actually be able to promote this NFC West Clash of the Titans between the Niners and Seahawks. The Seahawks sit two games back of San Francisco right now but have a chance to gain a full game here. That should make for some exciting DFS action!

We've been pretty successful so far with these showdown slates and hopefully, that trend continues throughout this year. Most of us started our fantasy journeys with football, so it's always nice when it comes around once again. Let's make some coin this season gang, and let's get right to it.

I will be providing you with daily fantasy football picks on FanDuel and DraftKings for the Seahawks vs. 49ers NFL DFS showdown slate on December 15th. These NFL DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on both DraftKings and FanDuel. MVP/Captain Plays

Christian McCaffrey, $17,100 (DK), $17,500 (FD)

The 49ers are limiting his touches and he is still breaking slates. In fact, CMC has put up his two biggest weeks with his new team since Jimmy Garropolo went down. The 49ers might be a little light on quarterbacks again, but I'm not sure it matters. Just put McCaffrey in at quarterback. He's good at everything else. I wouldn't be shocked if he could lead the team from there too.

In all seriousness, the Seahawks have struggled against the run all season long. McCaffrey is coming off of his first 100-yard performance since week 3 against a good Tampa defense. Seattle's D doesn't scare me no matter who's under center.

Geno Smith, $15,900 (DK), $14,500 (FD)

Who saw this one coming? I didn't, and I'm a Seahawks fan. Smith has been very consistent this season. He has six consecutive games with at least 20 fantasy points, but he hasn't scored more than 28 either. He doesn't have the upside that we really want from the captain spot, but he has the output that we need for cash games.

Other Captains/MVPs: Brandon Aiyuk, Tyler Lockett, 49ers D/ST

DFS Flex Plays

DK Metcalf, $10,000 (DK), $12,000 (FD)

Tyler Lockett may be the big threat, but take a peek at Metcalf's targets over the last few games. Metcalf has 42 targets over the last four games alone. He is quite a ways ahead of Lockett in targets over the last month. If you're using a Seattle receiver, ride the hotter hand with Metcalf.

Brock Purdy, $9,600 (DK), $15,000 (FD)

It has been confirmed that Purdy can play in this game without risk of further injury. It's all about whether he can handle the pain or not. I watched Purdy throughout his college career at Iowa State. He's pretty damn tough. I definitely think Purdy can play in this game. What I don't know is whether he can put up the Geno Smith-type numbers needed for him to hit value.

Other Flex Options: George Kittle, Kenneth Walker III, Noah Fant

DFS Value Plays

Robbie Gould, $4,000 (DK), $9,500 (FD)

Gould has good range and hasn't missed a field goal since week 5 against Carolina. This could be a lower-scoring game, especially if Brock Purdy's injury limits his throwing ability and causes the 49ers to go to a more vanilla form of offense. And, well, if CMC goes for six touchdowns, we at least get six points from Gould in extra points.

Jason Myers, $3,800 (DK), $9,000 (FD)

This is the kind of game where we could see both kickers in the optimal lineup. First off, there aren't a lot of value skill players with a floor higher than zero. Second, Myers hasn't missed a field goal since week 4 and has at least six fantasy points in every game since week 2 against...San Francisco. Look, this was a different Seahawks team, and 49ers team for that matter, back then. Trey Lance was the starter for the Niners and Kenneth Walker had less than five carries on the season at that point. Both kickers make for reliable value plays tonight.

Other Value Plays: Marquise Goodwin, Seahawks D/ST, Kyle Juszczyk

Enjoy your night and good luck everyone!
