NFL DFS: Bills vs. Dolphins DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Football Picks - TNF Showdown Slate (Week 2)

Tyreek Hill - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, DFS Picks

Today's top NFL DFS lineup picks for DraftKings, FanDuel - Bills vs. Dolphins TNF showdown slate for Week 2 (Sept. 12, 2024). Koby's NFL daily fantasy sleeper picks.

We are back again, RotoBallers! The first week of the NFL season was a solid one filled with lots of games coming down to the wire, including the Ravens-Chiefs game that ended by a toe! Travis Kelce was a bit of a dud, but we hit on a couple of other plays like Lamar Jackson, Justice Hill, and Xavier Worthy. This week, we get an AFC East showdown that should be a shootout with the high-powered offense in Miami taking on Josh Allen and the Bills.

Thanks to the advanced analytics of today, I'll do my best to provide you with as much in-depth analysis as possible regarding positional matchups, etc. to help put some lunch money in your pocket. Let's make some cash this season!

I will be providing you with daily fantasy football picks on FanDuel and DraftKings for the Bills vs. Dolphins NFL DFS showdown slate for Week 2, on September 12, 2024. These NFL DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on both DraftKings and FanDuel. MVP/Captain - NFL DFS Lineup Picks

Josh Allen - QB, $16,500 (DK), $17,000 (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2023 Stats: 4,306 passing yards, 29 touchdowns, 18 interceptions along with 524 rushing yards and 15 rushing touchdowns

Josh Allen is known to always play well against the Dolphins. He has thrown over 300 passing yards in the last four games against them along with 12 touchdowns in that time. The Dolphins also struggle against the run, and Allen has had no issue running against them in the past.

Tyreek Hill - WR, $17,400 (DK), $16,500 (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2023 Stats: 1,799 receiving yards on 119 receptions with 13 touchdowns

Tyreek Hill is very reliable here. Tua Tagovailoa loves targeting Hill as he had 12 targets in their win over the Jaguars, finishing with 130 yards and a touchdown. Hill hasn't had the best career stats against the Bills in the past, but the Bills no longer have Tre'Davious White or Jordan Poyer. This could be an opening for what may end up being a passing clinic.

Other Captains/MVPs: De'Von Achane, Tua Tagovailoa, James Cook

Flex Plays - NFL DFS Lineup Picks

De'Von Achane - RB, $9,600 (DK), $12,500 (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2023 Stats: 800 rushing yards, eight touchdowns, 27 receptions, 197 receiving yards, and three touchdowns

De'Von Achane is a game-time decision as of right now, so make sure to keep an eye on any updates that may come up in the next 24 hours. However, if he does play, he is one of the top plays on the slate. This same Bills defense was torn apart by James Conner, Achane has the chance to replicate that or even do better. He is heavily involved in the passing attack as well, giving him even more of an edge.

Note: Raheem Mostert is OUT

James Cook - RB, $9,000 (DK), $12,000 (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2023 Stats: 1,122 rushing yards, two touchdowns, 44 receptions, 445 receiving yards, and four touchdowns

The Miami Dolphins defense gave up 117 yards to the likes of Travis Etienne Jr. and Tank Bigsby. And had it not been for a fumble on the 1-yard line, they would have had two touchdowns as well. James Cook finished with 71 yards against the Cardinals on Sunday and as long as this game doesn't get out of hand early, he should see plenty of carries against a struggling run defense.

Other Flex Options: Jaylen Waddle, Keon Coleman

Value Plays - NFL DFS Lineup Picks

Jaylen Wright - RB, $2,000 (DK), $5,500 (FD)

This play is strictly if De'Von Achane doesn't end up playing because he is dirt cheap. Miami drafted Jaylen Wright for a reason; he is an explosive running back and would serve his purpose in the case that one or both of Mostert/Achane went down. I will say, though, that Wright will be chalky, so getting a little bit of both Wright and Jeff Wilson Jr. might be an ideal strategy if you are running multiple lineups.

Curtis Samuel - WR, $5,400 (DK), $8,000 (FD)

It's tough picking which Bills receiver is going to play well each week. Keon Coleman would be my first choice, but as for value, I like Curtis Samuel. With him being on a new team, it might just take a minute to get ready for the year. Samuel is nothing flashy but he has the upside. I would highly recommend playing multiple lines with different Bills receivers as it really could be anyone going into this game.

Other Value Plays: Jeff Wilson Jr., Mack Hollins, Tyler Bass

Enjoy your night and good luck everyone!
