NBA Weekly Streamers for Week 11 (12/25-12/31)

Ray D analyzes Week 11 streaming opportunities for head-to-head fantasy basketball leagues. He reviews the upcoming NBA schedule and players to add.

This year we'll take more of a holistic approach to streaming, by providing a weekly overview of which teams to look at based on their schedules and what players to consider targeting in advance to maximize the bang for the buck you get out of limited weekly transactions. Streaming is just about maximizing a roster spot with whoever is available after all, it's never about targeting a specific player.

Anybody can go onto their waiver wire, look for the most interesting player with a game the next day, and add him. So we'll be plotting out our moves in advance because being able to target a stream two days out or add two extra games in one transaction is where you can really gain an edge over the average streamer. Hopefully, this weekly overview will help you realize that edge.

Week 11 is with a nice balanced schedule for the holidays. The week with begin on Christmas day, with its traditional five-game slate, and come to a close on New Year's Eve with eight games. We're sure you've got your hands full with the holiday season, so let us help you set yourself up for the week. And remember to have fun!

Baller Streaming Strategy for the Week

Week 11 is nice and balanced, meaning there are plenty of streaming options for you to take advantage of. As usual, your big targets are players from teams that play twice with five or fewer games, and there are five such teams this week. Even nicer than this, is that Houston and Philadelphia are two of those teams, while also playing three in four days over the weekend.

For Houston, Ryan Anderson and P.J. Tucker are decent options. Anderson is a solid three-pointers streamer, consistently producing with 2.4 per game, while Tucker will give you some help in rebounds and steals. For Philadelphia, again, for the third straight week, Trevor Booker is recommended, as is one of the low-key funnest dunkers in the league, Richaun Holmes.

Minnesota has an old streaming favorite in Jamal Crawford who is starting to heat up, as he may finally be used to his role with the Timberwolves. You know the deal with Crawford when he's hot. The other option here would be big man Gorgui Dieng, who can help with boards.

Minnesota's options aren't ideal, but in New York Kyle O'Quinn is doing his thing, and that thing is grabbing boards, swatting blocks and dishing dimes, which are nice to have from any big man. Michael Beasley is also doing his thing, and he's really doing it lately. With Kristaps Porzingis being careful with his knee injury, Beasley is great to have as he's showing his ability to explode at any moment.

Boston may see the return of Marcus Morris on Christmas, so keep an eye on his status as he is widely available due to his time on the sidelines, and will surely help your team out a bit. Terry Rozier is also worth a consideration, as he's able to give you solid production across the board on any given night.
