Today's NBA Picks: Top Player Props, Odds, and Best Bets (Friday, 2/27/26)

Karl-Anthony Towns - Fantasy Basketball Rankings, NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Get Keith Eyster's top NBA player props and expert picks for Friday, 2/27/26. Uncover today's best value bets, model projections, and live odds to beat the books.

Welcome back to another edition of RotoBaller's NBA Props! There are five games on the schedule this evening, highlighted by a showdown between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Denver Nuggets, with recent MVP winners Nikola Jokic and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in the nightcap.

SGA is expected to return after missing more than three weeks with an abdominal strain, but OKC will still be without Jalen Williams. Meanwhile, Denver could potentially be without Jamal Murray, who is listed as questionable with an illness. Most of the other teams on the slate are all dealing with significant injuries as well.

In this article, I will provide my favorite NBA player props picks for Friday, February 27th. Prop picks can range from individual stats, such as points, assists, rebounds, three-pointers made, and defensive statistics, to combination props (Points + Rebounds + Assists = PRA). All odds and sportsbooks used are listed, but it's always a good idea to shop around, as odds change throughout the day as bets are placed. Alright, let's get to the picks already!

Today’s Best NBA Picks for Player Props

Let’s take a look at the top player props for today’s NBA slate:

Karl-Anthony Towns over 29.5 Points + Rebounds (-114 FanDuel), (-118 NOVIG)

New York big man Karl-Anthony Towns is coming off a disappointing performance against Cleveland, but he gets a strong bounce-back spot tonight against Milwaukee. KAT had been playing extremely well until his most recent game, clearing 29.5 PR in five straight games and seven of his last eight. For the season, he is averaging 20.0 points and 11.7 rebounds per game.

Milwaukee has struggled defensively this season, and it's been even worse with Giannis Antetokounmpo out of the lineup. Across their last 13 games without the former Defensive Player of the Year, the Bucks rank just 24th in defensive efficiency.

Kevin Porter Jr. over 30.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-114 FanDuel), (-120 NOVIG)

Milwaukee guard Kevin Porter Jr. has stepped into a lead role with Antetokounmpo sidelined. Over his last nine games with the former MVP sidelined, Porter has averaged 21.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 7.9 assists (35.2 PRA). He's cleared 30.5 PRA in all but one of those games.

Tonight's matchup isn't ideal against New York, but Porter has exceeded this line in tougher matchups multiple times during this stretch. He went over in tough matchups against a pair of top-10 defenses in Toronto and Miami, and the only game he fell short came against Oklahoma City's top-ranked defense.

Top NBA Value Picks and Sleeper Props

Betting on superstars is always exciting, but the best value often lies in the margins of a roster. Role players and emerging contributors can offer hidden edges, especially as the season wears on and injuries start to shake up rotations. We don't want to wager only on superstars; often, role players and lesser-known players may offer the best markets.

Let’s dive into some of the top value plays for today’s NBA slate.

Jaylon Tyson over 20.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-105 Bet365)

Cleveland has an injury report worth monitoring this evening. Donovan Mitchell has been ruled out, while James Harden, Dennis Schroder, Dean Wade, and Keon Ellis are listed as questionable. If even one of those players carrying a questionable tag gets ruled out, it would lead to a decent bump in Jaylon Tyson's role, with Harden obviously the most impactful name.

Tyson played 35 minutes last game with Mitchell, Harden, and Evan Mobley all out of the lineup, going for 27 PRA against Milwaukee. He played nearly 27 minutes in the game before that, with everyone healthy, tallying 22 PRA against New York. Mobley is back for this one, but Tyson should still have a significant role with Mitchell out. There would be massive value on this line if others get ruled out beyond that.

GG Jackson II over 15.5 Points (-130 FanDuel)

Memphis forward GG Jackson soared over his points prop for us on Wednesday, and we're going right back to it here on Friday despite a slight bump in the line. The Grizzlies remain extremely shorthanded with key contributors like Ja Morant, Cedric Coward, and Santi Aldama sidelined. Now, Ty Jerome is also listed as doubtful for this game.

Jackson has averaged 21.8 points over his last five games, clearing 15.5 points in each of them. He also gets an elite matchup against a Dallas defense that ranks 27th in efficiency over its last 10 games. Dallas has allowed more points in the paint than any team in the league, an area from which Jackson scores half his points.

Julian Strawther over 9.5 Points (-115 Bet365)

Denver wing Julian Strawther has taken on a starting role since Aaron Gordon and Peyton Watson were injured. He's cleared 9.5 points in eight of his last nine games, averaging 14.6 points per game during that stretch.  Additionally, Murray is listed as questionable for this game after he left the last game with an illness. There would be huge value on this line if Murray is unable to play. Spencer Jones and Jalen Pickett are also listed as questionable for this game, and either of them getting ruled out would only solidify the minutes floor for Strawther.

It's a brutal matchup against Oklahoma City's top-ranked defense, but Strawther's recent role and production more than justifies the over. The added value that could come from the injury news is a nice bonus.
