NBA DFS Prop Picks for PrizePicks: Tuesday, March 28

Trae Young - Atlanta Hawks

Biggie Lisbon presents his Fantasy Score NBA DFS prop picks on PrizePicks for March 28th. Use his NBA prop picks recommendations to win money on PrizePicks.

The 2022-2023 NBA season is here, and our friends over at PrizePicks still have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.

Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best and easiest-to-win NBA DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit of up to $100.

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for Tuesday, March 28.

Single Stat NBA Totals - DFS Prop Picks

Editor's Note: Prize Picks prop totals are not always available first thing in the morning, so check back during the day as other props may be added during the day.

Trae Young OVER 25.5 Points: I'll kick off today's slate with Trae Young's points prop. Young has exceeded this projection in three of his last five games, averaging 22 points during that span. Tonight, the Atlanta Hawks will be facing the Cleveland Cavaliers, and Young has a good track record when facing the Cavs, going over in four of the last five games against them while averaging a high total of 33 points. This game has only a one-point spread, so there should be no blowout risk. The books like Young to go over 25.5 points with -135 odds. Given Young's sharpshooting skills, this projection feels too low, and he should have no trouble covering it for us.

Darius Garland OVER 28.5 Points + Assists: Next, let's go right back to that Cavs-Hawks matchup and look at Darius Garland's points + assists prop. Garland has only gone over this number once in his last five games, but tonight he's facing the Hawks, a team he's crushed in three out of his last five matchups. Against the Hawks, Garland has averaged a solid 31 points + assists in his last four games. The books like Garland to exceed this projection, giving us -135 odds for him to go over 28.5, while other books have him at 29.5 with even odds, giving us a one-point margin. With Vegas expecting a close and high-scoring game, I'm confident Garland will ball out and cover this for us.

Dennis Smith Jr. OVER 7.5 Assists: Lastly, I'll be taking a look at Dennis Smith Jr.'s assists prop. Smith has surpassed this number in two of his last five games, averaging 6.6 assists during that span. However, with injuries sidelining Terry Rozier (foot) and Kelly Oubre Jr. (shoulder), Smith has been placed into the starting lineup, logging 28 and 30 minutes in his last two games. The books are giving Smith high odds of -150 to go over this projection, while some sites have bumped the number to eight, while PrizePicks has him at 7.5, giving us a significant .5 margin. My prop model also projects a slight lean towards the over, projecting Smith at 7.65 assists. Considering the odds, margin, and weak defense of the Thunder, I believe Smith will cover his 7.5 assists projection for us.
Other Recommendations - Malcolm Brogdon OVER 18.5 PRA, Tyler Herro OVER 22.5 PAJonas Valanciunas OVER 11.5 rebounds.

Don't forget it's Taco Tuesday! Mix and match the tacos with your favorite plays above!

Overall recommendation for this play: FLEX
