PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, December 8.

Single Stat NBA Totals - DFS Prop Picks

Tre Jones OVER 13.5 Points - I'll start things off with Tre Jones's points prop. The Spurs are a bit decimated, most notably missing Jakob Poeltl as well as Devin Vassell is doubtful for tonight's showdown with Houston. Jones has only played one game with both of those guys OUT, back on April 9 of last season against the Warriors, where he scored 15 points. Houston's defense struggles heavily in terms of points allowed, ranking 28th overall and 30th against point guards. My model is giving us serious value here, projecting Jones for 21.4 points tonight.
Jusuf Nurkic OVER 9.5 Rebounds - We'll take a look at Jusuf Nurkic's rebound prop next. Nurkic has a difficult matchup tonight against the Nuggets tonight, who ranks 2nd in rebounds allowed overall and ninth in rebounds allowed against centers. However, with Nassir Little sidelined tonight, Nurkic gets a pretty solid boost. He's grabbed at least 10 rebounds in eight of his last ten games without Little on the floor, with an average of 12.3 rebounds per game. My model projects him for 13.6 rebounds tonight, which proves to be solid value in this spot.
Reggie Jackson UNDER 15.5 Points - I'll finish things off today by going with an under on Reggie Jackson's points prop. While Kawhi Leonard will likely sit out of the second half of the back-to-back, this actually seems to hurt Jackson in terms of scoring. He's scored 16 or more points in just two of the last ten games without Leonard in the lineup, with an average of 11.3 points. My model agrees as well, projecting Jackson for just 12.1 points in this matchup with the Heat tonight.
Other Recommendations - Ivica Zubac UNDER 11.5 Points, Jabari Smith OVER 12.5 Points, Josh Hart UNDER 7.5 Rebounds, Jamal Murray OVER 4.5 Assists
