NBA DFS Prop Picks for PrizePicks: Friday, March 1

luka doncic NBA dfs lineup picks daily fantasy basketball advice

Lance Roberson presents his Fantasy Score NBA DFS prop picks on PrizePicks for Friday, March 1. Use his NBA prop picks recommendations to win money on PrizePicks.

The 2023-2024 NBA season is here, and our friends over at PrizePicks still have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power or flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.

Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the industry's best and easiest-to-win NBA DFS games. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people; you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER,' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For the NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, March 1.

Single Stat NBA Totals - DFS Prop Picks

Editor's Note: Prize Picks prop totals are not always available first thing in the morning, so check back during the day, as other props may be added during the day.

Luka Doncic OVER 32 Points - Luka Dončić spent his 25th birthday blessing prop betters as he recorded an extravagant 30-PT triple-double over the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night. On the heels of such a wonderous outing, the Dallas Mavericks battle in the sea of green as they face the Boston Celtics on Friday. It's been a tough go for Dončić against the elite Boston team recently, as he converted an abysmal 14 percent from distance in their last two meetings.

Regardless of the shooting splits, there is plenty of room for optimism. Friday's line for Dončić's PTs sits at 32, and Dončić topped that number twice in their last three matchups, most recently erupting for a 33-PT TD on January 22. As the lights intensify, Dončić's game elevates, making for a high chance of Doncic covering the points prop. My advice is to take the over.

Derrick White OVER 2.5 3-PT Made - Aside from Boston's match vs. the Philadelphia 76ers on February 27,  Derrick White is on fire. Over White's last five games, he's averaged 3.2 conversions from the 3-PT line, surpassing an average twice in the allotted span. White, considered an All-Star by some intelligent analysts of the NBA, is ultimately a super role player. Thankfully, for White and, more importantly, inclined betters, the Mavericks tend to feel the wrath of role players' shooting streaks. Look no further than the Mavericks' last game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Max Strus, who's shot 33 percent from deep this season, shot a back-breaking 7-10 3-PT line, including the game-winning 59-foot shot. As Dallas will primarily focus on Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Kristaps Porziņģis, White's probability of open shots skyrocket. With White's line locked in at a modest 2.5 3-PT shot conversion, I highly suggest banging the over.

Giannis Antetokounmpo OVER 0.5 Blocks - In a bizarre twist of events, Giannis Antetokounmpo's elite rim protection seems to have disappeared in his last five games. Rejecting only one shot in the previously allotted stretch, PrizePicks promptly reacted by setting the line at a remarkably low 0.5 BLKs. Frankly, despite what the numbers convey, I can't, in good faith, bet the under on such a low line, especially as Antetokounmpo is liable to record multiple BLKs in Friday's game vs. the Chicago Bulls.

Typically, I wouldn't suggest ignoring stats, but tonight, take the over without hesitation.

Jonathan Kuminga OVER 2.5 Assists - Typically touted as an athletic machine, Jonathan Kuminga's recent assists reveal there is more to him than physical stature. Friday sees the Golden State Warriors face the Raptors, theoretically allowing Kuminga to create more for teammates, as Stephen Curry shouldn't have to dominate the ball against such an opponent. While Kuminga won't get confused for Chris Paul anytime soon, he's covered the over on assists on every instance in his past five outings.

As the line sits at 2.5 ASTs for Kuminga, I suggest banging the over as emphatic as Mike Breen shouts his signature three-point shot call.
