PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For the NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, April 12.

Nikola Jokic UNDER 27.5 Points - In the last matchup between the Denver Nuggets and San Antonio Spurs, Nikola Jokic scored 42 points in a hypercompetitive duel with Victor Wembanyama. Although the Nuggets haven't officially clinched the top seed in the Western Conference, I don't see the reigning champions pressing for top billing for the postseason.

I envision Jokic flirting with the 27.5 line for points via PrizePicks. Still, ultimately, the 2024 MVP favorite will cover the under as he focuses more on setting up his teammates against the lottery-bound Spurs.
Jalen Brunson OVER 7 Assists - Amazingly, the New York Knicks have a shot at the two-seed in the Eastern Conference. Despite the injuries cursed upon the New York basketball franchise, its fearless leader, Jalen Brunson, willed the battered team to a favorable playoff seeding. Coming down from a ridiculous five-game stretch in which Brunson averaged 39.4 points, including a 39-point performance against the Boston Celtics on Thursday evening, I believe it's time for the fever dream to end.
However, as the Knicks battle their illegitimate little brother basketball franchise in the Brooklyn Nets, I predict Brunson will seek all the defensive holes in his opponents. PrizePicks set Brunson's assist line at 7, which he's covered in the previously mentioned stretch all but once. Look for Brunson to cover the under on 7 AST against the Nets.
Anthony Edwards OVER 2.5 3-PT Made - Despite holding the reputation as one of the more fierce dunkers in the NBA, Anthony Edwards is a sneaky shooter from deep. Over his last five games, Edwards registered 3.6 three-point shots per game, on an efficient 40 percent. As the Minnesota Timberwolves look to take back the top spot in the Western Conference as they host the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night. Frankly, Atlanta has no answer for Edwards in any facet of the game.

Tre Jones OVER 1.5 Turnovers - Tre Jones is the Spurs' point guard, and although he is not the floor general Wembanyama needs, San Antonio must wait for summer to upgrade. Averaging two turnovers per contest in his last five showings, Jones has his hands full against the Nuggets. While Jones doesn't hold the ball for long game durations, his track record suggests he'll cover the over on 1.5 turnovers. I wouldn't overthink this prop bet. Mash the over on Jones turnovers.
