NBA DFS: Top Daily Fantasy Expert Picks for DraftKings, FanDuel (10/31/25)

Kawhi Leonard, Los Angeles Clippers

Free daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for today's slate on DraftKings and FanDuel. Use Keith Eyster's NBA DFS expert picks to building winning DFS lineups on October 31st, 2025.

Happy Halloween, Rotoballers! Tonight we have an eight-game slate to kick off the Emirates NBA Cup in-season tournament. Last season, teams used slightly condensed rotations and leaned on their stars for a few extra minutes in NBA Cup games. It remains to be seen if they will handle the tournament games similarly this season, but it is something to monitor. The injury report contains serious star power this evening, headlined by Luka Doncic, Donovan Mitchell, and Jamal Murray.

The key to being successful in NBA DFS comes down to making adjustments during the day as injury information becomes available. But it's always important to have a game plan and the best players and spots circled first before making those adjustments. To keep up with all the latest developments and get access to updated projections, grab an NBA season pass and also gain access to our RotoBaller Premium Discord, where our experts are talking about the slate up until lineups lock!

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 10/31/25. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome NBA injuries report tool, as the slate can completely change before lineups lock at 7:00 p.m. EST on FanDuel and DraftKings. Good luck tonight, RotoBallers!

NBA DFS Core Picks

Nikola Jokic, DEN - C ($12,000 DK / $12,200 FD)

Jokic has flashed his elite upside just once so far this season, but he still has the highest ceiling in the entire league. Notably, he averaged 39.8 minutes per game in two NBA Cup games last season, so this may just be an eruption spot for him, especially if Jamal Murray (questionable) is unable to play.

Tonight, Jokic gets a matchup with an improved Blazers squad that is playing at the second-fastest pace in the league. They have been solid defensively, with a top-10 defensive rating, but the matchup ultimately doesn't matter for Jokic. The up-tempo game environment and potential for huge minutes in an NBA Cup tournament game make Jokic the top play on the slate.

Kawhi Leonard, LAC - SF/PF ($7,800 DK / $8,000 FD)

The Clippers have been involved in three lopsided games to start the new season, blowing out the Suns but getting pummeled by the Jazz and Warriors. The Blazers played them close in the other game, but the Clippers came away with the win to begin their season 2-2. Unsurprisingly, Kawhi Leonard played a major role in both victories, while he shot poorly in the two losses. The three blowouts have also kept his minutes down to begin the season, as he played 35 minutes in the tightly contested game, but saw just 29 minutes against the Jazz.

Tonight, he gets an elite matchup against the Pelicans, who rank just 26th in defensive efficiency this season after finishing 29th last year. The uneven start to the season for Leonard has him at a very attractive price point, and he ranks among the top point-per-dollar plays on the slate.

Keyonte George - PG ($6,900 DK / $6,900 FD)

With Isaiah Collier sidelined, Keyonte George has logged at least 30 minutes in all four games to begin the season, and he is taking advantage of the opportunity. The 21-year-old has shown improvement in all facets of his game. His shooting efficiency has improved, and his playmaking has reached another level with a career-best assist rate. His averages of 22.3 points and 9.3 assists per game both represent a sharp uptick in production from a season ago. The matchup looks great against a Suns team that ranks 28th in defensive efficiency to begin the season, and George just put up 26 points and 10 assists in an overtime win over them earlier this week.

NBA DFS GPP Pivots

Luka Doncic, LAL - PG ($11,500 DK / $11,700 FD)

Luka Doncic was surprisingly upgraded to questionable on the Lakers' initial injury report for Friday. His return tonight would be ahead of the initial injury timeline, but the NBA Cup seems to matter to players and Luka is apparently doing everything he can to be available for his team.

Obviously, the Lakers star is one of the best fantasy players in the entire league and one of the few that can rival the upside of Nikola Jokic. He has scored 40+ points in both games he was able to play this season, and he gets an up-tempo matchup against the Grizzlies. The field may be hesitant to plug Doncic into lineups in his first game back from injury, which would only make him an even more appealing tournament pivot.

Devin Booker, PHX - PG ($9,400 DK / $9,300 FD)

With Jalen Green still unable to play, Devin Booker has one of the best roles in the league. The Suns' star guard is soaking up a ton of usage (31.8%) and playing massive minutes. He has topped 30 points in four of five games this season and now gets an elite matchup against the Jazz. Booker's best fantasy performance of the season thus far came earlier this week in an OT loss at Utah. He will look to avenge that loss on his home court tonight in Phoenix.

Pascal Siakam, IND - PF ($9,300 DK / $9,500 FD)

The Pacers are dealing with a wave of injuries that have forced Pascal Siakam into an elite fantasy role. Bennedict Mathurin, Andrew Nembhard, and Obi Toppin all remain out for this matchup with the Hawks. Atlanta is a prime matchup, as they play with tempo and are below average defensively. Siakam has gone over 60 fantasy points in two contests this season, and topped 50 fantasy points in another. He's not typically a player viewed as having a massive ceiling, but that is exactly what he's become with this version of the Pacers.

NBA DFS Value Picks

Josh Minott, BOS - PF/SF ($4,500 DK / $4,700 FD)

Minott has been inserted into the Celtics' starting lineup for the last two games and has absolutely run with the opportunity. He put up 15 points and 9 rebounds in his first start against the Pelicans, and then followed it up with 11 points, 15 rebounds, 2 assists, and 4 "stocks" against the Cavs. Not only is he contributing all across the stat sheet, but he has also proven to be an outstanding defender for Boston. The outstanding play of Minott should keep him locked into a valuable role tonight against the Sixers.

RayJ Dennis - PG ($5,200 DK / $4,800 FD)

The Pacers are extremely shorthanded in the backcourt with Bennedict Mathurin, T.J. McConnell, and Andrew Nembhard all joining Tyrese Haliburton on the sidelines. RayJ Dennis has been asked to significant minutes in the interim, and he has responded with solid production. The undrafted rookie is averaging 12.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 5.5 assists in 28.3 minutes per game across three contests this season. He should continue in the role as long as Indiana remains extremely shorthanded.

Collin Gillespie - PG ($4,800  DK/ $4,900 FD)

Gillespie has played himself into a larger role with the Suns as they search for an offensive spark alongside Devin Booker while Jalen Green is sidelined. Gillespie has played over 30 minutes in each of the last two games, proving capable as a scorer and playmaker. The 26-year-old projects as the top points per dollar play on the slate in the Rotoballer lineup generator.

Today's Top NBA DFS Game Stacks

Jazz @ Suns (237.5 O/U) - Several games feature a total in the upper-230s on this slate, but this one stands out for a variety of reasons. First, neither of these teams projects to be great defensively, and we just saw them put up 272 combined points in a game earlier this week. Yes, the game went to overtime, but only 24 of those points came in the extra period. Second, there are some strong value plays on each team that can be paired with high-upside stars like Devin Booker and Lauri Markkanen to create a strong overall roster construction.

Nuggets @ Trail Blazers (239.5 O/U) - This game features the highest total on the slate, and pairing the massive upside of Jokic with a strong mid-range play like Deni Avdija or Jrue Holiday is very appealing. If Jamal Murray (questionable) were to get ruled out, there would be loads of value plays like Christian Braun or Aaron Gordon to look at as well.

Here is where I leave you with some of my favorites.

  • My favorite OVERALL play on the slate: Nikola Jokic
  • My favorite CASH play on the slate: Kawhi Leonard
  • My favorite GPP play on the slate: Devin Booker
  • My favorite VALUE play: Josh Minott
