NBA DFS Lineup Picks & Sleepers – FanDuel Advice for 2/11

Brad Leibfried highlights the top NBA DFS lineup picks for 2/11 as well as a couple of sleepers to keep in mind while building your roster on FanDuel.

All throughout the 2014-15 NBA campaign, RotoBaller will be analyzing the top NBA DFS lineup picks and providing our expert advice for the best sleepers at the guard, forward and center positions. Below are our favorite FanDuel DFS picks for February 11th, 2015.

Keep in mind, fantasy basketball is a fickle game when it comes to injured players, so be sure to check all lineups prior to tip-off. If you want to chat about your roster picks, check out the DFS chat room at the bottom of this post.

Worth the Investment

Giannis Antetokounmpo (MIL, SG) - $6,800

It says something about how well Antetokounmpo is playing that on a 12 game slate he is arguably the best play on the board tonight. The young Bucks star has been rolling of late with eight straight games over 27 fantasy points while posting over 30 his last five consecutive games.

The Greek Freak has finally gained the trust of coach Jason Kidd as he has played over 32 minutes in 10 straight games which has allowed him to score in double figures in eight straight and pulling down over 10 rebounds in four games. Along with that the lengthy guard has a block in eight straight games and at least one block in seven of nine games. For this price it will be almost impossible not to play him tonight in any type of game.

LeBron James (CLE, SF) - $10,800

Of course James will not consider this a revenge game, but expect him to show his former team why he is excited about his new squad. Since returning from injury, James has been the fantasy stud we have all expected as in his last nine games he has scored at least 36 in all of them while also going over 50 in three of them.

As he has done throughout his career, James posts a solid all-around stat line with the ability to put up a triple double at any time with solid defensive statistics. A match-up with Luol Deng is not ideal, but for a player of James’ caliber a plus defender is not an issue if he gets it rolling.

Marc Gasol (MEM, C) - $8,300

Expect a ton of people to be on DeAndre Jordan coming off of a monster 22 point and 27 rebound game, however Gasol is a nice pivot who has a higher floor and similar upside. The little talked about Memphis center has been over26 fantasy points in 10 straight while bumping his season average for FanDuel points to 36.9 per night.

Like the two players listed already, Gasol is an outstanding contributor across the board with 2+ assists in 10 straight, at least one block in nine of 10 and three games with 2 steals over the past 10. Tonight he will be facing a Thunder team that is without Steven Adams which means Kendrick Perkins and Mitch McGary will be the primary defenders on Gasol.

With that huge advantage look for Memphis to pound Gasol the rock and do not be surprised if he posts a 40 point fantasy game while being well under 10% owned.

Top Sleepers

Alexis Ajinca (NOP, C) - $4,200

Despite loving Gasol tonight, I will find it hard to not play Ajinca at center tonight. There is a perfect storm of factors making him a great play tonight for the Pelicans. First off, Anthony Davis and Ryan Anderson both are doubtful tonight which means Ajinca is the only true power forward left on the team.

The second thing to love is that he had a bit of a down game against a tough Utah defense so his ownership percentage will be lower than expected. Finally, Ajinca has massive upside due to his propensity to rebound and block shots.

Al-Farouq Aminu (DAL, SF) - $4,600

Aminu has been quietly producing lately with 10 straight games in double figure fantasy points. Since the trade of Brandon Wright and Jae Crowder, Aminu has been seeing into the mid 20’s for minutes which has allowed him to produce solid fantasy lines. He will never wow you with points as he has only been in double figures in three of 10 games, but has nine straight games with a steal and a block in five straight.

With Monta Ellis and Tyson Chandler out for the game, Aminu and Charlie Villanueva should be in line for a nice minutes and production bump.
