NBA DFS Lineup Picks & Sleepers: FanDuel Advice for 11/5

All throughout the 2014-15 season, RotoBaller will be giving you the top DFS plays at guard, forward and center as well as a couple of value picks. Keep in mind, fantasy basketball is a fickle game when it comes to injured players, so be sure to check all lineups prior to tip-off.

Editors Note: If you have not tried out Fanduel 1-day fantasy basketball leagues, RotoBaller offers the best bonuses around. Signup and make a deposit for a new Fanduel account, and receive a 100% bonus on your deposit up to $200.

Top DFS Picks (Worth the Investment)

Stephen Curry (GSW, PG) -  $10,000

By Keith Allison from Owings Mills, USA (Stephen Curry) [CC-BY-SA-2.0 (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.0)], via Wikimedia CommonsTalk about a fun match-up, Curry and the Warriors take on the other top guard option of the night in Chris Paul. Although you cannot really go wrong with either player, I will be rolling with Curry in most lineups tonight. He has had a brilliant start for new coach Steve Kerr, as he is putting up over 48 fantasy points per night on FanDuel, including over 50 in two-of-three games. When looking at high priced options, it is difficult to find a more consistent threat.

Nerlens Noel (PHI, PF) - $6,300

Not very often is a player who averages 8.0 points per game going to be one of, if not the top forward option of the night. However, Noel possesses an elite defensive game that has translated to big fantasy performances. In his last game against the Rockets, Noel scored just 10 points, but came up big on the defensive end with six steals and a block. Tonight, he faces off with a Magic team that largely struggles on the defensive end. Look for Noel to dominate an inferior front line.

Marc Gasol (MEM, C) - $8,200

Gasol is the steadiest center in all of daily fantasy basketball. You can count on the Grizzlies' big man for at least 15 points, seven rebounds, three assists and a block each game. Those are valuable numbers, even for a player who is going to cost you a big chunk of salary cap.

Coming into this year, the team said they were going to get Gasol even more involved in the offense and that has played out thus far. He is putting up 22.5 points to go along with his steady diet of rebounds, assists and blocks. Tonight, Memphis takes on a Phoenix front line that is undersized with Miles Plumlee and Markieff Morris manning the power forward and center positions. In a game that could see plenty of points for both sides, expect Gasol to pour in a double-double with a few dimes and blocked shots.

Best DFS Values (Sleepers)

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (DET, SG) - $5,000

When looking for value, you want to be sure to find players that are getting a ton of minutes and shots. Caldwell-Pope fits that role perfectly. Through three games this year, he is averaging over 39 minutes and has hoisted a surprising 42 total shots. However, KCP has yet to find his stroke, putting up just 9.3 points on 26.2 percent shooting from the field.

Caldwell-Pope has saved himself by grabbing at least six rebounds every night while also contributing some steals and assists. The Knicks' Iman Shumpert is a solid defender, but if Caldwell-Pope can manage to find his shot tonight, he should greatly outperform his purchase price.

Brandon Davies (PHI, PF) - $4,700

Davies drew the start last time out for Philadelphia and took advantage by posting 13 points, four rebounds and three assists against Houston. Early word out of Sixers' camp is that he will once again start in the frontcourt tonight against the Magic. As mentioned earlier, the Magic are a dream match-up for fantasy players. For a player that has scored over 20 fantasy points in three-of-four games, Davies' $4,700 price tag is simply too low.
