NBA DFS FanDuel Advice & Sleepers – Lineup Picks for 3/8/15

Zitong Huan analyzes the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 3/8/15. Expert fantasy basketball daily league advice and sleepers for today's FanDuel DFS games.

All throughout the 2014-15 NBA campaign, RotoBaller will be analyzing the top NBA DFS lineup picks and providing our expert advice for the best sleepers at the guard, forward and center positions. Below are our favorite FanDuel DFS picks for March 8, 2015.

Keep in mind, fantasy basketball is a fickle game when it comes to injured players, so be sure to check all lineups prior to tip-off. If you want to chat about your roster picks, check out the DFS chat room at the bottom of this post.

Worth the FanDuel Investment

Victor Oladipo (ORL, SG) - $7,700

Victor Oladipo is quickly emerging as the leader of this young Orlando Magic team. Oladipo has significantly picked up his play since the firing of head coach Jack Vaughn. Oladipo has averaged 20.4 points. 5.1 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 1.5 steals. His numbers have also been incredible in these past two games, averaging 34.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists, and 4.0 steals. With Nikola Vucevic possibly sidelined for Sunday’s game against the Celtics, Oladipo will look to handle the scoring load and provide fantasy stats across the board. Oladipo is not really thought of as a three point shooter, but has made three pointers in the last four games. This shows just how hot he has been. He has been allowed to take advantage of this by playing over 40 minutes in both of the past two games, as well as taking over 24 field goal attempts. Look for Oladipo to continue providing a great DFS fantasy score no matter Vucevic’s status for Sunday’s NBA game.

Honorable Mention: Isaiah Thomas (BOS, PG)

 

Kawhi Leonard (SA, SF) - $7,600

Kawhi Leonard may have had an up and down year with injuries. But he looks to be heading into this March homestretch with confidence in his shot, and plenty of aggressiveness on defense. In his last five games, Leonard is averaging 19.8 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 2.4 steals, and 1.8 blocks per game. His numbers have greatly improved with the return of Tony Parker as the key facilitator in San Antonio’s offense, and Leonard looks to be benefitting from the better spacing. San Antonio has really started to click as of late, and Leonard’s aggressiveness on the boards and on defense will only improve as opponents struggle against containing their offense. Leonard might possibly take a slight hit in his rebounding numbers against Chicago, but his defensive numbers will still be there and there won’t be anyone on Chicago’s frontline who will be able to contain his scoring.

Honorable Mentions: Draymond Green (GSW, SF), Ed Davis (LAL, PF)

 

Rudy Gobert (UTA, C) - $7,500

Rudy Gobert should provide plenty of NBA DFS value on Sunday, as his asking price is just a notch below the top fantasy center performers. If you can afford to upgrade to the cream of the crop in your FanDuel lineup, go right ahead. However, Gobert has proven to become a consistent asset in Utah since moving into the starting lineup. The Utah Jazz have actually started to win games! These are games against good playoff teams too. It is clear that the duo of Derrick Favors and Rudy Gobert will be the frontcourt of the future, and Gobert should have no problem sticking in the starting lineup for this season at the very least. Gobert is averaging 11.2 points, 14.4 rebounds, 1.1 steals, and 2.7 blocks in his last seven games. He is contributing plentifully in every category except assists, and is becoming a great daily fantasy option.

Honorable Mention: Al Jefferson (CHA, C)

 

Sleeper DFS Picks

J.J. Redick (LAC, SG) - $4,800

J.J. Redick is a must start in daily fantasy NBA leagues on Sunday. Not only has he been hot of late, but Jamal Crawford has been ruled out due to injury. Reddick has been the forgotten man on this Clippers roster with the injury to Blake Griffin. Everyone has been giving the credit to Chris Paul and Deandre Jordan - J.J. Redick however, has been playing great since he has returned from injury. Reddick has been averaging 17.1 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.8 assists. Reddick also just had a huge game against Portland, scoring 26 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals. He will be heavily relied upon on Sunday when the Clippers will be lacking a huge chunk of scoring with both Crawford and Griffin missing.

Honorable Mention: Channing Frye (ORL, PF)
