NBA DFS: DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (1/10/24)

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Oklahoma City Thunder

Today's top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings, FanDuel on January 10, 2024. Juan Carlos Blanco's NBA DFS sleeper picks for building winning DFS lineups.

We have a smaller main slate than usual on DK and FD for a Wednesday, but there are still a solid eight games on the slate. There are also several big-name injuries opening up additional opportunities for players with salaries that don't reflect their expected elevated roles. That offers up some great value options, creating more room to squeeze in some attractive high-end players.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 1/10/24. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome new NBA injuries report tool as the slate can completely change before lineups lock at 7 p.m. ET.

Today's DraftKings, FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, OKC at MIA – PG/SG ($10,500 DK; $11,500 FD)

Gilgeous-Alexander put together another 50+ fantasy-point tally on both sites against the Wizards on Monday, his fourth straight such performance. The star guard has been shooting a blistering 55.7 percent, including 55.6 percent from behind the arc, over his last five contests. SGA has actually been at his best on the road, where he's shooting 56.6 percent, including a 46.0 percent success rate from deep that dwarfs his 26.9 percent figure in that split at home. In turn, the Heat has allowed 39.9 percent three-point shooting to point guards, along with over 53 fantasy points per contest to the position in the last seven games.

Terry Rozier, CHA vs. SAC – PG/SG ($8,500 DK; $9,000 FD)

Rozier continues to shoulder a massive workload in the ongoing absence of LaMelo Ball (ankle), with Rozier now sporting a 29.2 percent usage rate with his teammate off the floor. Rozier is averaging 44.4 DK/42.8 FD points per 36 minutes in that scenario as well, and he's eclipsed 50 fantasy points on both sites in three of the past four games. On Wednesday, he faces a Kings team that's had its fair share of defensive struggles of late and is allowing 42.2 percent three-point shooting in the last three contests. Sacramento is also conceding the seventh-highest offensive efficiency rating to point guards (29.3), along with 54.4 DK/52.9 FD points per game to the position in the last 15 games.

Devin Vassell, SA at DET – PG/SG ($7,300 DK; $7,300 FD)

Vassell has been on a hot streak since late last month, averaging 21.4 points (on 51.3 percent shooting, including 46.9 percent from deep), 3.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 2.6 steals per contest in the last seven games. Vassell is averaging just under 40 DK/FD points per contest in that sample -- excellent returns on his current salary. The Pistons make for great targets for him Wednesday, as San Antonio checks in allowing the third-highest offensive efficiency rating to shooting guards (25.9), as well as the third-most DK (46.5) and most FD (46.7) points per game to the position in the last 15. What's more, Detroit is surrendering a co-NBA-high 8.9 steals per contest, particularly noteworthy given Vassell's defensive prowess.

ALSO CONSIDER: Tyrese Maxey, PHI at ATL - PG ($8,900 DK; $9,000 FD)

Today's DraftKings, FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Victor Wembanyama, SA at DET– PF/C ($8,900 DK; $10,000 FD)

Vassell isn't the only Spurs player in an enviable spot on Wednesday, and his DK salary is particularly eye-catching. The rookie phenom has scored over 50 fantasy points on either site in two straight, and he posted 61 DK/66.2 FD points five games ago against the Trail Blazers. Wemby's matchup is just as enticing Wednesday, considering the Pistons are allowing the sixth-highest offensive efficiency rating to centers (35.6), along with the fourth-highest shooting percentage (58.1) and highest three-point shooting percentage (43.6) to the position. Detroit is also allowing the third-most blocks per game (6.2), particularly relevant when considering Wemby's elite rim-protecting capability.

Tobias Harris, PHI at ATL – SF/PF ($6,900 DK; $7,300 FD)

Harris is off the injury report after missing the 76ers' loss to the Jazz on Saturday due to an ankle issue, and he should be very well-rested for a favorable scenario against the Hawks. Not only is Atlanta allowing the seventh-highest offensive efficiency rating to power forwards (29.6) and fourth-most DK (52.6) and FD (50.5) points per game to the position, but Joel Embiid (knee) will sit out for Philly again Wednesday. Harris has a 24.1 percent usage rate and averages 37.3 DK/FD points per 36 minutes without his teammate on the floor, making him an excellent mid-salary play.

Aaron Nesmith, IND vs. WAS – SF/PF ($5,100 DK; $5,900 FD)

Nesmith is another forward who could be in a position to benefit from a teammate's absence on Wednesday, as Tyrese Haliburton's hamstring strain will keep him out for at least two weeks. Naturally, several Pacers will be in line to benefit from the massive usage void created by Haliburton's absence, and Nesmith is one value-salary option that could be a primary beneficiary. The emerging big, who's already enjoying his best all-around season, is averaging 32.8 DK/32.5 FD points per 36 minutes with Haliburton off the floor, and he'll already be in an advantageous position against a Wizards team yielding the second-most DK (55.3) and fourth-most FD (52.5) points per game to fours in the last 15 contests.

ALSO CONSIDER: Kyle Kuzma, WAS at IND - SF/PF ($7,800 DK; $8,100 FD)

Today's DraftKings, FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Alperen Sengun, HOU at CHI – C ($8,200 DK; $9,100 FD)

Sengun has been one of the most versatile centers in either conference during his breakout campaign, averaging an impressively well-rounded 21.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.1 steals per contest. The third-year pro has been in even better form since right before Christmas, averaging over 45 fantasy points per game on either site over his last nine contests. The Bulls have surrendered the seventh-highest offensive efficiency rating to centers (35.3), as well as 56.9 DK and FD points per game to centers in the last 15.

Myles Turner, IND vs. WAS – C ($6,800 DK; $7,700 FD)

Chalk up Turner as another Pacer carrying reasonable salaries who could see a nice bump in opportunity in Haliburton's absence. The veteran big man is averaging 36.2 DK/36.4 FD points per 36 minutes with Haliburton off the floor, and he's eclipsed 30 DK points on seven occasions and 30 FD points in eight instances over the last 11 games overall. The Wizards also happen to be the best matchup in the league for centers, allowing the highest offensive efficiency rating to centers (39.6), along with an NBA-high 66.7 DK/65.5 FD points per game to the position in the last 15 games. Additionally, it's worth noting the Wizards are allowing a robust 5.6 blocks per contest, while Turner has at least three blocks in 12 games this season.

Kevin Love, MIA vs. OKC – C ($5,300 DK; $6,100 FD)

Love has been turning back the clock frequently of late, averaging 14.8 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per contest over a modest 22.6 minutes per game in his last five contests, a sample during which he's shooting a crisp 55.6 percent. Jimmy Butler (toe) will remain out for Miami on Wednesday, and his current absence has essentially coincided with Love's recent surge. The veteran makes for a very viable play again at his salaries, especially with OKC allowing the 11th-highest offensive efficiency rating to second-unit players (42.7) and over 55 fantasy points on either site to centers in the last seven games.

ALSO CONSIDER: Domantas Sabonis, SAC at CHA ($10,000 DK, $10,200 FD)
