NBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks - FanDuel DFS Basketball Advice for 12/8/15

By Keith Allison [CC-BY-SA-2.0 (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.0)], via Wikimedia Commons

Tom Bellucco highlights the top NBA DFS lineup picks for 12/8/15, as well as a couple of sleepers to keep in mind while building your roster on FanDuel.

We have six games on the slate for Tuesday, and here's hoping the game-time news will be far less hectic than last night's. Holy cow. Anyways, today is a new day, and we get another chance at thousands of dollars. Best of luck!

In this article, I will be providing you with Daily NBA picks for FanDuel for 12/8/15. The picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays.

Without wasting anymore time, let's get down to it!

FanDuel DFS Point Guards

Elfrid Payton (at DEN, $6,800)

Payton has been coming on as of late. He just dropped 44.8 FDP on the Clippers Saturday night. Granted, that was without Chris Paul, but that's basically what he's going up against with this Denver backcourt. The pace should be fast in this one, so Payton will get plenty of chances to shoot and dish the rock. Pair him with the guy below, and you'll have some nice spending room as we look at other positions.

Matthew Dellavedova (vs POR, $4,300)

Dellavedova certainly doesn't light up the stat sheet in any way. However, he's been starting lately. And with Mo Williams dealing with knee problems, the Cavs will likely give Dellavedova all the run he can handle. His salary gives leeway for a so-so night, and the relief in cap room will be nice on a night like this.

FanDuel DFS Shooting Guards

Will Barton (vs ORL, $5,700)

I can't argue with anyone who goes with Harden here. He's one of the guys I don't mind paying up for... ever. Still, you gotta love with Barton has been doing off the bench recently. He's hovering around 30 minutes every game, and he's shooting the ball whenever the opportunity presents itself. Hint: You're going to want to pay up at the next position.

Courtney Lee (vs. OKC, $3,800)

The Memphis guard has averaged 31 minutes over the past three games. That's all you need to know for a salary that's below 4k. Dial up Lee and hope that he is starting to heat up, as he just posted 31.8 FDP two nights ago.

FanDuel DFS Small Forwards

LeBron James (vs. POR, $10,200)

Sorry kids, but you just can't roster James, Paul George, and Kevin Durant tonight. If you're that upset over it, give DraftKings a try. George should be a solid play against a fast-paced Warriors team, but James is coming off a nice rest, and Portland doesn't have an answer for a springy LeBron. I am going to feel very comfortable rostering James on Tuesday.

C.J. Miles (vs GS, $5,200)

Here's a nice way to get a hold of the Golden State vs. Indiana game without having to pay too much. I would probably steer clear of Miles in a cash game, but his tournament upside is beautiful. Despite switching to the PF spot for the Pacers, Miles is still shooting his fair share of threes. Indiana will need him to get hot Tuesday if they're going to stay in this game. I like Miles' minutes, usage, and upside tonight.

FanDuel DFS Power Forwards

Derrick Favors (at SAC, $8,300)

Favors is getting all the minutes he can handle with Rudy Gobert out for a while. He put up 54.1 FDP on Saturday, and Sacramento will push the pace enough to give him that opportunity again. Until Gobert comes back or Favors' price hits $9,000, the Jazz Forward is a safe play with huge upside in all formats.

Andrew Nicholson (at DEN, $4,000)

We're picking on the Nuggets again. Nicholson has been scoring rather well with his increased minutes load recently, but his inconsistency on the boards has been surprising. Regardless, he'll hit his fair share of transition threes and baby hooks. As long as he keeps getting minutes and his price stays below 5k, Nicholson is a nice way to save some cap room at the PF spot.

FanDuel DFS Centers

DeMarcus Cousins (vs UTA, $9,800)

I'm convinced that Cousins can be the best player on the floor at any point in time when he wants to be. He recently criticized his own play, so the narrative writer in me says that this is going to be a huge bounce-back game. With no Rudy Gobert to stand in his way, Cousins should have plenty of open looks at the rim. Slower pace and foul trouble are the only risky aspects here, but Cousins is too good to pass up in this matchup. Let's go, Boogie.
