FanDuel DFS Guards

James Harden (at NO, $10,600)

James Harden is one of the best guard options every time he steps onto the court, but tonight is special for the Houston Rockets' shooting guard. He faces off against the New Orleans Pelicans, who are one of the worst teams in the league against the opposing shooting guard position. The Pelicans will keep pace with the Houston Rockets, so Harden is going to be able to shoot early and often. Harden did not look terrible against the San Antonio Spurs, but he didn't look fantastic either. That was expected because the Spurs' defense is fantastic. The Pelicans' defense is horrendous. Harden has over 40 fantasy points in eight of his last 10 games. Use him in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.

Gerald Green (at ORL, $4,100)

Gerald Green has been playing well for the Miami Heat, and he makes for a solid, cheap option tonight against the Orlando Magic. The Magic are not one of the worst teams in the league defensively, but Green is simply too cheap to pass up. He has over 20 fantasy points in four of his last eight games, and in the other four, he is hovering right around 20 fantasy points. He rarely flops entirely, so he makes for a solid cash game play tonight. Against the Pelicans, he didn't look great, but he did add four steals to his total. In 25 plus minutes, he should be able to at least return value against the Orlando Magic tonight for only $4,100.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Chris Bosh (at ORL, $7,200)

Chris Bosh is scoring well for the Miami Heat right now, and he should continue his success tonight against the Orlando Magic. The Magic are solid defensively against the guard positions, but they do not defend the big men positions all that great. Chris Bosh has over 40 fantasy points in two of his last three games, and I would not be surprised at all if he posts over 40 fantasy points again tonight. Bosh is not one of the best rebounders in the league, as he rarely double-doubles, but he is a fantastic scorer. If Wade decides to have an off night, the Heat will rely mainly on Chris Bosh. Also, Hassan Whiteside upset one of the coaches for the Miami Heat, as he sat almost all of the fourth quarter and overtime last game, so Bosh may see some added minutes until that situation gets figured out.

Taj Gibson (at DAL, $4,700)

Taj Gibson is the best play on the board until his price goes up. With Joakim Noah out of the lineup for quite some time, Gibson starts and dominates for the Chicago Bulls. On Christmas, against the Oklahoma City Thunder, he scored 13 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and posted 31 fantasy points. His price tag is entirely too low. A majority of the playing field will have Taj Gibson tonight, but for good reason. If you avoid him, you'll be playing from behind for the remainder of the night. You have been warned.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Hassan Whiteside (at ORL, $7,700)

I know I previously mentioned that Hassan Whiteside was benched for the larger half of the fourth quarter and overtime on Christmas, but he is still the best center option on the board. Unless he is announced as inactive, I will be using him tonight against the Orlando Magic. Against the New Orleans Pelicans, Whiteside grabbed 17 rebounds and scored eight points, posting 33.4 fantasy points in only 25 minutes of action. If he would of played the entire game, he would of easily double-doubled and crushed value. If the Miami Heat decide to let him play 30 plus minutes tonight, he could definitely outscore all other center options on the board. I may avoid him in 50/50 contests for now, but he is a near must play in tournaments.
