In this article, I will be providing you with Daily NBA picks for DraftKings for 12/25/15. The picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Russell Westbrook (vs CHI, $10,400)

Russell Westbrook flirted with a triple-double in his last game against the Los Angeles Lakers, and he only played 30 minutes. He generally plays 35 plus minutes, but the Lakers are the Lakers. Tonight, he faces off against the Chicago Bulls, and Westbrook will be looking to put on a show for Christmas. The Bulls are not one of the best defensive teams in the league, and I doubt that Jimmy Butler will shift over to play against Westbrook. The Oklahoma City Thunder point guard is definitely the best chance you'll have tonight to secure a triple-double into your lineup. Two games ago against the Los Angeles Clippers, a solid defensive team, Westbrook posted 54.5 fantasy points. He should post similar results tonight against the Bulls.

Jamal Crawford (at LAL, $3,500)

Jamal Crawford has been extremely up and down so far this season. In his last four games, he has looked absolutely terrible, but he is still playing pretty consistent minutes. Tonight, he faces the Los Angeles Lakers, who are terrible against opposing shooting guards, and he should be able to take advantage of that matchup. The two games prior to his bad stint of games, Crawford averaged over 20 fantasy points per game. He should be able to score over 20 fantasy points tonight, but nothing is guaranteed with him. Do not use him in 50/50 contests, but he makes for a cheap, solid tournament play.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Blake Griffin (at LAL, $9,000)

Blake Griffin looked absolutely terrible against the Oklahoma City Thunder, as he shot awfully from the field. He only posted 29.9 fantasy points, but he has been rather consistent aside from that game. The game prior, Griffin played well against the Houston Rockets, posting 40.6 fantasy points. The Los Angeles Lakers are terrible at defending the power forward position, and Griffin should absolutely dominate for the three quarters that he plays. If this game stays close into the fourth quarter, which is not likely, Griffin is going to crush value. Even if the game gets out of hand, Griffin could have hit value by then, as his price tag is rather low for his fantasy production and upside.

Taj Gibson (at OKC, $4,700)

Joakim Noah is going to be out for quite awhile, and Taj Gibson is going to continue to start for the Bulls at the power forward position. The Bulls serious depth at the big man positions limits his upside, but he did play 33 minutes in his last game against the Brooklyn Nets. He posted almost 30 fantasy points. If he continues to see minutes like that, his price tag is far too low. Gibson is a very effective scorer, and he possesses huge upside due to that. The Oklahoma City Thunder did just shut down Blake Griffin, but they are generally not all that great on defense, especially against big men. Regardless, Gibson is a bit more of a tournament play than a cash game play.

Hassan Whiteside (vs NOR, $7,700)

Hassan Whiteside is playing out of his mind right now, and he should continue to play great tonight against the New Orleans Pelicans. The Pelicans are one of the worst teams in the league against the center position, and Whiteside is posting huge stat lines right now. In his last two games, he has over 40 fantasy points in both of them. He is a great scorer and a great rebounder. His minutes are on the rise, and they should stay in the 30 plus range tonight against the Pelicans. The Heat are starting to rely on Whiteside more and more as the season progresses, and his current fantasy production testifies to that. Use him in any format - 50/50 contests or tournaments.
