NBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks - FanDuel DFS Basketball Advice for 12/06/15

Aah Sunday basketball. Nestled and tucked away behind the craze that is (fantasy) football season. That’s okay. I’ll take advantage of some double-up and tournaments that aren’t exactly being filled up with quality research. Or even filled up with entries for that matter. Have fun today.

In this article, I will be providing you with Daily NBA picks for DraftKings for Sunday, 12/6/15. The picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays.

Without wasting anymore time, let's get down to it!

FanDuel DFS Point Guards

Stephen Curry (at BKN, $11,100)

Apparently this Curry character is pretty not bad at playing the sport of basketball.

Reggie Jackson (vs LAL, $7,900)

Reginald Shon Jackson looks to be an excellent play in all formats. He has scored at least 32 fantasy points in five of his last six games, including an average of 47.8 FDPPG over Detroit’s last three. For the season, he is averaging more FanDuel points per minute, which bodes well for his owners if coach Stan van Gundy limits his minutes to the low 30s. Even if he does not eclipse 30 minutes on Sunday night, he should still feast off the Lakers, who are giving up the most fantasy points to opposing point guards.

FanDuel DFS Shooting Guards

Klay Thompson (at BKN, $5,900)

Slotting Thompson into your roster is somewhat of a gamble and is most recommended as a second two guard and/or tournament play. Bradley Beal is the top option on the board and will most likely put up the most minutes, points and shots. However Thompson presents a lot more value. Golden State’s sniper has scored at least 20 points in three straight games, going 14-for-26 from behind the arc. That streak should continue against the fifth-worst defense against three pointers.

Gary Neal (vs DAL, $3,600)

The injuries to Nene, Kris Humphries, Drew Gooden and Marcin Gortat translate to big minutes to almost everyone else on the Wizards roster. In 20 minutes off the bench last week against Phoenix, Neal scored 20 points and grabbed six rebounds with dishing out an assist, recording 18.7 FanDuel points. Before he was injured in a game against Boston, Neal scored at least 25 FD points in two straight. His price dictates that he is a tournament play at best, but if he maximizes his output and gives a real nice return on investment, owners can really go for rostering heavy-hitters at the other positions.

FanDuel DFS Small Forwards

Kevin Durant (vs. SAC, $10,400)

KD has looked just short of incredible since his return from injury. Sunday night, he will get the third fastest team in the league at home. Sacramento will be playing in their second straight night and KD will most likely get to feast off of Omri Casspi and a defense that has allowed the third most points to opposing swingmen on the year. The Thunder have been playing in some close games this year, so I’m not too afraid of the blowout potential in this one.

Marcus Morris (vs LAL, $6,300)

His field goal percentage is down nearly 30 points from last season and over 20 points lower than his career average. However, Morris is setting career highs in shots (12.7) and minutes (37) per game this season. That type of volume and opportunity is hard to ignore, especially against an atrocious opponent. And I wouldn’t worry too much about that field goal percentage. Dude is starting to get in a groove as he has gone 14-of-21 from the field over his last two.

FanDuel DFS Power Forwards

Thaddeus Young (vs GS, $6,600)

Thaddeus Young continues to do what Thaddeus Young does, averaging 15.4 PPG, 8.6 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.4 steals per game. Those numbers translate to a per game FanDuel average of just shy of 30 fantasy points, a respectable number in cash games. However, his best game of the season was on November 14, when he scored 47.5 FDP against- you guessed it- the Golden State Warriors. Odds are he will not have that be that productive again, but he should give a nice return in cash games for his owners.

Dirk Nowtizki (at WAS, $7,000)

The power forward position is looking pretty sub-par for the slate. For that reason, I’ll be looking to go top heavy in tournaments just to play devil’s advocate to the field. With all the injuries to the Washington front court, Nowitzki could have a monster day. Any seven footer going up against the Wizards this season has the chance to have a monster day. Or, Nowitzki could only play 25 minutes if the game gets out of hand quickly. Either way, I’ll take a gamble on him in GPPs. Sometimes you gotta spend money to make money. Even if it is fake money.

FanDuel DFS Centers

DeMarcus Cousins (at OKC, $10,300)

Sometimes it’s hard to roster Boogie after he has played the night before. But he only played 26 minutes on Saturday night after getting into foul trouble early and often against the Rockets. He’s mad. He’s fuming. He will take it out on any Thunder defenseman standing in his way. I like Boogie so much that I am going to start my lineup with his roster.
