FanDuel DFS Guards

Ishmael Smith (vs POR, $6,900)

Ish Smith has played extremely well over his past couple of games, and he should continue to excel tonight against the Portland Trailblazers. The Trailblazers are a solid defensive team, but Smith is essentially matchup proof. In his last five games, he has three games over 40 fantasy points, and one game over 35 fantasy points. The Sixers offense and defense is much better with Smith on the court, so he will likely continue to see close to 40 minutes per game. Use him in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.

Mario Chalmers (vs NYK, $5,600)

Mario Chalmers exploded again in his last game against the Detroit Pistons. He scored 25 points, assisted the ball eight times, stole it four times, and posted over 45 fantasy points. Tonight, he gets a great matchup against the New York Knicks, so as long as Mike Conley does not decide to suit up, Chalmers should continue to play well. He is almost definitely going to score over 30 fantasy points, and he has the ability to score 50 plus fantasy points. It is almost impossible to find someone like that for under $6,000. Again, only use Chalmers in 50/50 contests and tournaments if Conley is out tonight.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Nicolas Batum (vs MIL, $7,100)

Nicolas Batum has not played well since his return to the court, but he should start figuring things out shortly. The Milwaukee Bucks are not great against opposing small forwards, and Batum should take advantage of that. It has been three games since Batum posted over 30 fantasy points, but prior to that, he was posting over 40 fantasy points on a rather consistent basis. Batum is one of the best small forwards in the league, and his price tag is rather low considering his upside. I would avoid him in 50/50 contests until he proves that he is completely healthy, but he makes for a great tournament option.

Trey Lyles (vs LAL, $3,900)

Trey Lyles is playing big minutes right now for the Utah Jazz, and he gets a great matchup tonight against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers are one of the worst defensive teams in the league, and Lyles has been producing consistently. In three of his last five games, he has over 20 fantasy points, and of recent, he has been playing close to 40 minutes per game. He makes for a great tournament option tonight, as he should be able to at least hit value against the Lakers, and he is a great scorer against a terrible defense.

FanDuel DFS Centers

DeMarcus Cousins (at LAC, $10,800)

DeMarcus Cousins is absolutely dominating right now, and there is no reason to avoid him. In his last six games, he has five games over 50 fantasy points, two of which are over 60 fantasy points. His price tag is definitely threw the roof, but he is still worth deploying in all formats. The Los Angeles Clippers are terrible against opposing centers, so Cousins should dominate the offensive and defensive glass. DeAndre Jordan will pose a rebound threat, but Cousins is a great scorer, which is something Jordan can not defend. He should score over 30 regular points tonight, which he has done in six of his last seven games.
