NBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks - FanDuel DFS Basketball Advice for 11/2/16

Welcome readers to week two of the fantasy season. As is the case with most Wednesdays, we have a multitude of players to build our rosters with as there are 10 games scheduled to tip tonight. Before we jump into the player analysis, I'd like to point out the following games that have high over/under lines listed: Bulls at Celtics (211.5) and the Rockets at Knicks (215.5). If you're looking for golden stacking opportunities, those two games are great places to start.

In this column, you will find my daily fantasy NBA lineup picks for FanDuel on 11/02/16. These NBA DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays on FanDuel. Good luck tonight. May November forever be in your favor.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Mike Conley - PG, vs NOP ($6,600)

Conley is off to a pretty bright start this season, having exceeded value in two of his team's three contests in the 2016-17 season. He's currently averaging double digit shot attempts each game - something I love to see, as that spells opportunity - and he's also averaging more than six assists a night. Tonight he has a strong matchup against a Pelicans team that has defensive woes in their backcourt.

Kyle Lowry - PG, at WAS ($7,400)

Despite the fact that he has only surpassed value once in his three games this season (it was the most recent game; it's a super small sample size anyway), Lowry is really a steal at this price point. It's not very often you can get a point guard of his caliber - the type that can put up tournament-like numbers - below $8k. Tonight's matchup is a good one as Washington has had their fair share of issues defensively, and the fact that Lowry plans a ton of minutes (35+) and has a high usage rate helps to give him a high floor.

Kentavious Caldwell Pope - SG, at BKN ($5,500)

KGP is a super value play this evening. He has been hit-or-miss this season, hitting and surpassing value in two of his four games, but he appears to be heating up after pouring in an average of more than 31 FanDuel points over his last two games. There is some risk in playing a streaky player like Pope, but the opportunity is always there and presents itself in greater fashion tonight. He plays in the low 30's minutes range, normally puts up double digit shot attempts and tonight faces a defense that has allowed more points to opposing two-guards than any other team taking the floor tonight.

Also Consider: Bradley Beal - SG, vs TOR ($5,300)

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Carmelo Anthony - SF, vs HOU ($7,500)

There is so much to love about Carmelo tonight from an individual numbers standpoint and a matchup/pace standpoint. He has a high floor and incredibly high ceiling as the focal point of this offense, and thus far he's the owner of a usage rate just shy of 29, which is worlds ahead of nearly any small forward taking the court tonight. From a matchup and pace standpoint, this game is also very attractive as the pace will be quick (more offensive posessions) and the Rockets struggle defensively and don't have anyone that can matchup with Anthony well.

Anthony Davis - PF, at MIL ($10,700)

With all of the solid floor, high ceiling players you can fill your backcourt with tonight, it's easier to spend up for a guy like Anthony Davis. The Brow has already shattered his price implied value a few nights this season, and he has a good chance of doing so tonight as well. For the season, Davis owns an impressive 25.1 PER and he's played at least 31 minutes each night out there - often playing more than 35. Davis is a matchup problem for any team, but especially for a banged up Memphis squad that has already surrendered more than 2.5 points above the average against opposing small forwards.

Also Consider: Ryan Anderson - PF, at NYK ($5,500)

FanDuel DFS Centers

Andre Drummond - C, at BKN ($8,000)

Drummond was an absolute monster to begin the season last year and then tailed off during the middle and the end of the year, my guess due to a combination of defenses keying in on him and physical fatigue. For a while there, you couldn't sniff rostering Drummond for under 10k. Tonight, I consider him a steal at this price, and he's showing flashes of being that beast once again, as he's already produced FanDuel point totals of 40.5 and 59.1 points. Tonight, he faces a Brooklyn team that is lost on defense and surrenders more points to opposing centers than any other team taking the floor. Drummond is a nice play tonight as he also boasts a PER of 21.3 thus far this season.

Also Consider: Mason Plumee - C, at PHX ($4,900)
