NBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks - FanDuel DFS Basketball Advice for 11/1/16

After yesterday's short four-game slate, NBA fantasy players have to be excited about tonight's action. There are various games to attack, a lot of great value, and a few solid expensive options as well.

In this column, you will find my daily fantasy NBA lineup picks for FanDuel on 11/01/16. These NBA DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays on FanDuel. Good luck tonight. May November forever be in your favor.

Editor's Note: New users that sign up on FantasyAces, make a $20 deposit, and enter any game will receive our full season NBA (or NFL) Premium Pass for free (includes DFS Cheat Sheets). FanDuel DFS Guards

Stephen Curry - PG, at POR ($8,700)

Stephen Curry is far from the elite point guard that he was last season, mainly due to Kevin Durant stealing a few of his shots, but he is still a great tournament option. He has double-digit three-point attempts in two of his first three games, and the Portland Trailblazers, despite their solid defensive play, love to push the pace of the game. Damian Lillard and Stephen Curry are going to go back and fourth tonight, in what should be fun for the casual fan and fantasy player.

Evan Fournier - SG, at PHI ($6,000)

Evan Fournier is playing big minutes for the Orlando Magic right now. He showed flashes last season, especially earlier on. In his last start, he posted over 25 fantasy points in 38 minutes of action. The impressive part is that he has over 37 minutes in two of his first three starts. The Philadelphia 76ers are borderline pathetic on defense, and Fournier should have no issues scoring. Use him in tournaments tonight on FanDuel for his price tag.

Tim Frazier - PG, MIL ($5,500)

Tim Frazier is too cheap. His last performance (18.3 fantasy points in 25 minutes on the court) likely scared away a couple of fantasy owners, but he should return to form. In his first two games of the season, he posted over 40 fantasy points in each. The Milwaukee Bucks are tough defensively, especially Giannis Antetokounmpo, but Frazier will find open shots, as the defense focuses on Anthony Davis. Use him in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Anthony Davis - PF, MIL ($11,000)

Anthony Davis could be the best play of the night. He has over 75 fantasy points in two of his first three starts, one of which was a massive 95.7 fantasy point outing. The Milwaukee Bucks are not that great against big men, and Davis should have no issues scoring. He struggled against the San Antonio Spurs, but all can be forgiven. Go back to the well again tonight.

Kevin Durant - SF, at POR ($9,800)

Kevin Durant looks like he decided to take over the Golden State Warriors' offense. He is controlling the ball. In his first three games of the season, he posted over 50 fantasy points in all of them. His price tag has yet to adjust, making him a great option in both 50/50 contests and tournaments. The Portland Trailblazers are going to keep this game close, push the pace, and further Durant's upside.

Gorgui Dieng - PF, MEM ($5,900)

Gorgui Dieng just signed a brand new contract, so it looks like he will be staying in Minnesota for the foreseeable future. He amount of money that he received, compared to players like Steven Adams and Rudy Gobert was definitely low, as he is on the verse of flourishing in the NBA. In his first two games this season, he is averaging right around 35 fantasy points per game. Even in a tough matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies tonight, he can be used in all leagues due to his low price tag.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Hassan Whiteside - C, SAC ($8,600)

Hassan Whiteside finally showed off his super-human talents. Against the San Antonio Spurs, a very good defensive team, he posted over 55 fantasy points in 35 minutes. He shot 10-of-15 from the field with 15 rebounds. Tonight, he gets an easy matchup against the Sacramento Kings, a team that pushes the tempo of the game and neglects to play defense. Sixty plus fantasy points is not out of the question here. Use him in all formats.

Joel Embiid - C, ORL ($4,500)

According to recent reports, Joel Embiid will start against the Orlando Magic tonight, but will sit out tomorrow for the Philadelphia 76ers. If he does end up playing tonight, even on a minute restriction, he is worth his price tag. He has over 20 fantasy points in both of his first two games, and he is handling the ball in around 30-40 percent of the Sixers' offensive plays. If he plays over 20 minutes against Nikola Vucevic and company tonight, his ceiling is around 35-40, which is great for under $5,000.
