In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy NBA lineup picks for FanDuel on 5/2/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays on FanDuel.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Kyrie Irving (vs ATL, $7,800)

The San Antonio Spurs have too good of a defense to pick on them in fantasy contests. Russell Westbrook is too expensive, for his matchup. The Spurs limited him to 31.9 fantasy points in the first game of the series. Play Kyrie Irving instead, as he gets a great matchup against the Atlanta Hawks. The Hawks love to push the pace of the game, which in turn, leads to more fantasy points for the Cavaliers' star guard. Irving posted over 40 fantasy points in his last game, which was against the Detroit Pistons. He should play well tonight.

Tony Parker (vs OKC, $4,700)

Tony Parker looked solid in his last game, which was against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Thunder tend to push the pace of the game, and they also fail to play defense against opposing point guards. Parker took advantage of that and posted over 20 fantasy points in 27 minutes on the court. His price tag is low, and as long as he continues to play around 25 minutes per game, he should hit value. There are not too many options on the board, so keep it cheap here.

 

FanDuel DFS Forwards

LeBron James (vs ATL, $10,300)

Again, do not pick on the San Antonio Spurs. Kevin Durant is very enticing, but he should be avoided because he gets a tough matchup against Kawhi Leonard, who recently won defensive player of the year. LeBron James, on the other hand, gets a great matchup against the Atlanta Hawks. He has over 40 fantasy points in three of his last four games, so using him in 50/50 contests is a good idea as well. However, playing 50/50 contests on a two game slate is probably a bad move overall.

LaMarcus Aldridge (vs OKC, $8,100)

LaMarcus Aldridge absolutely dominated the Oklahoma City Thunder during the first contest of the series. The Thunder push the pace of the game and fail to play defense against opposing big men. Aldridge posted 48.7 fantasy points in 30 minutes on the court, scoring 38 points and grabbed six rebounds. The Spurs trashed the Thunder during that game, and Aldridge will likely play more if this game stays a little bit closer, which it should. The Spurs look absolutely unstoppable right now.

 

FanDuel DFS Centers

Al Horford (at CLE, $7,600)

Al Horford gets a great matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight. The other center options on the board are pretty horrible. The Cleveland Cavaliers, San Antonio Spurs, and Oklahoma City Thunder all struggle at the center position. That makes Al Horford the best center option on the board without a doubt. His price tag is definitely up there, but it is well worth it, as he is much better than the next best on the board. That makes his value over replacement very high. Use that to your advantage.
