NBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks - FanDuel Basketball Advice for 10/25/16

Jason Bales highlights the top NBA DFS lineup picks for 10/25/16, as well as a couple of sleepers to keep in mind while building your roster on FanDuel.

Welcome to another season full of NBA action! The Golden State Warriors already won the NBA Championship, but fantasy should still be a lot of fun. Seriously, someone should do something about the whole super team thing. Anyway, let us focus on winning some money, instead! Here we go.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy NBA lineup picks for FanDuel on 10/25/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays on FanDuel.

Editor's Note: New users that sign up on FantasyAces, make a $20 deposit, and enter any game will receive our full season NBA (or NFL) Premium Pass for free (includes DFS Cheat Sheets). FanDuel DFS Guards

Kyrie Irving - PG, CLE ($7,100)

Kyrie Irving is the best guard option on the board tonight. His price tag is much lower than that of Stephen Curry or Damian Lillard, and his talent level is right up there with the best of them. He has a usage percentage over 20, even with LeBron James on the court, and last season, he had an upside rating over 40 percent. On DraftKings, his price tag is too high. On FanDuel, it is simply too low. James tends to allow other players to score, and he will also help Irving rack up the assists. This game could get out of hand, and as long as the Cleveland Cavaliers are winning, James will not take over. He saves that for close games and playoffs. Use Irving in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.

Rodney Hood SG, UTA ($5,400)

Rodney Hood is a very enticing value play at the guard position tonight. On a short three-game slate, it is difficult to find value, but Hood is it. He should see a usage percentage around 20-25, higher if Derrick Favors is ruled out (it is looking likely that he will play, though). Hood plays 30 plus minutes per game, and while he is on the court, he is about average when it comes to effectiveness. His own percentage should be around 20-25, which is not too terribly high - lower than Klay Thompson's. Hood has huge upside due to his ability to score, as well as contribute in other categories. Use him in tournaments. Klay Thompson is the better 50/50 option, even with all the question marks in Golden State.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Kawhi Leonard - SF, SA ($7,900)

Kawhi Leonard has a floor and a ceiling similar to both LeBron James and Kevin Durant, but his price tag is much lower. Even though his own percentage will be around 30 tonight, he is the best forward option on the board. He is a huge part of the San Antonio Spurs' offense, and his effectiveness is much higher than league average. He should see around 33-35 minutes on the court, and if he posts over 40 fantasy points, it would not be surprising at all. The Spurs are massive underdogs in this contest, but if anyone knows anything about the Spurs, it is that their players will never give up. Leonard is going to play regardless of a blowout. Use him in all leagues.

Kristaps Porzingis - PF, NYK ($6,900)

The New York Knicks will quickly figure out that Kristaps Porzingis is the future. He dominated last season when given the opportunity, and his ceiling is through the roof. Carmelo Anthony will control the ball on offense, but if Porzingis gets hot, he will take over the show. Porzingis should be owned at around the same rate as Derrick Favors (assuming he plays) and Kevin Love. All of these players are very close in price. Porzingis has the highest upside. He may not be the most effective player on the board, and the risk factor is definitely there, but the ceiling is also there. Love is the best 50/50 contests play at power forward. Use Porzingis in tournaments.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Rudy Gobert - C, UTA ($6,200)

Use Rudy Gobert in every single lineup. He is the best center on the board over at FanDuel without a doubt. His price tag is too low. Without Draymond Green eligible to play the center position, Rudy Gobert takes over. He has great rebounding ability. He will likely outscore Pau Gasol for a fraction of the price. And he has a huge ceiling. If the Utah Jazz can figure out a way to get him involved in the offense, look out. Even better news is that he will likely be owned at less than 20 percent, making him the best play in both 50/50 contests and tournaments. Seriously, use him in every single lineup.
