NASCAR race results and recap for the 2025 Iowa Corn 350 at Iowa Speedway. William Byron was able to save enough fuel to get his second win of the season.
For the second straight NASCAR Cup Series race, fuel mileage came into play, as William Byron was able to stretch his gas tank and take the checkered flag at Iowa Speedway on Sunday afternoon, his second win of the year.
This win was by no means a fluke, though, as Byron's No. 24 Chevrolet ranked third-best in Average Running Position for the race and fastest in Green Flag Speed. With his victory, Byron is now back on top of the points standings with three races to go in the regular season.
Pole sitter, Chase Briscoe, wound up with a runner-up finish, while Brad Keselowski--who arguably had the strongest car all day--came home third. A couple of more Fords, Ryan Blaney and Ryan Preece, rounded out the top five.
