Monday Night Football Prop Picks for Week 13 - Monkey Knife Fight

kirk cousins fantasy football rankings draft sleepers NFL injury news

Corey Johnson's NFL DFS prop picks for the Vikings vs. Seahawks Monday Night Football contests. Use these Week 13 recommendations to win on Monkey Knife Fight.

Week 13 Monday Night Football features a matchup between the Minnesota Vikings and the Seattle Seahawks. The game will be played in Seattle, has an implied total of 50 points, and a spread of around three points favoring the Seahawks. Both offenses offer really some exciting plays on Monkey Knife Fight!

Pick 1: Over/Under (2/2)

Recommended Prop Pick: Russell Wilson OVER 265.5 Passing Yards and Kirk Cousins OVER 260.5 Passing Yards

The Seahawks and Vikings passing defenses both rank in the bottom half of the league, allowing 282 and 265 passing yards per game respectively. That, in combination with the 50 point total, make it a perfect opportunity to attack the overs for both of these quarterbacks.

So far this season, Wilson has surpassed 265.5 passing yards in five of his 12 games. That may not sound ideal but each of those games were close, competitive games. A 50 point total with just a three point spread favoring the home teams means that Vegas believes this game should stay close. As long as this game stays within a score or two, Wilson should be able to easily surpass 265.5 passing yards.

Cousins has surpassed 260.5 passing yards five this as well this season, all of which have come over his last seven games. Cousins started the year off quite slow but has found a grove and has been preforming extremely well. Against a Seattle defense that has allowed over 280 passing yards per game, Cousins should surpass 260.5 passing yards more often than not.

Pick 2: Rapid Fire Fantasy Points (2/2)

Recommended Prop Pick: Dalvin Cook OVER 21.5 Fantasy Points and Russell Wilson OVER 20.5 Fantasy Points

Simply put, Cook has been elite this season. In the high paced affair that this MNF game is expected to be, Cook should have a huge role both on the ground and through the air. Cook has seen at least 20 carries and four targets in seven of 11 games this season, with an upside of 25 carries and/or eight targets. With the PPR format that MKF offers and his heavy involvement in the offense, 21.5 fantasy points should not be an issue for Cook to surpass.

As mentioned above, Wilson should be able to rack up some yards against a below-average Vikings pass defense. In addition to yardage, Wilson has the ability to run the ball. Wilson has a rushing upside of about 50 yards. With 300+ total yards, through the air and on the ground, as long as Wilson is able to find the end zone at least once, he will easily break through that 20.5 fantasy point threshold.

Pick 3: Reception Collection

Recommended Prop Pick: Tyler Lockett, DK Metcalf, and Stefon Diggs To Total 17.5+ Receptions

Lockett has struggled through injury this year but when healthy, he has been Wilson's favorite target by far. As you can see, Lockett has an injury designation on MKF but recent reports indicate that he is healthy for MNF. Lockett has seen 12, 14, and 18 target games this season and has shown the ability to bring numerous of those targets in for catches. In the fast paced game that MNF should offer, 10+ catches for Lockett is quite realistic.

Metcalf has been Wilsons clear number two receiver. Though he hasn't shown the extreme upside that Lockett has, Metcalf has seen 9,5,9,10, and 6 targets over the last five weeks. With that much opportunity, four catches seems to be a reasonable floor, with an upside of seven to eight catches.

As for Diggs, he will be the clear WR1 for Cousins on Monday night as Adam Thielen has already been ruled out. Diggs has seen four to eight targets over the last five games and has one 11 target game this season. Diggs has an extremely similar floor and upside for catches as Metcalf does.

Adding all of those together, there is certainly a way for these three players to get to the 22.5 reception mark for 5x your buy-in. Of course, that is extremely high risk and taking the 17.5 or 19.5 totals are safer bets.
