Recent Update

7/18:Ariel Miranda was touched up for five runs through 5 2/3 innings in the Mariners 9-7 win. He received a no-decision in the game and it marks the second start in a row where Miranda has allowed at least five runs without getting through the sixth inning. In his last 10 2/3 innings, Miranda has allowed 11 hits and 11 runs after throwing seven shutout innings on June 30th. Miranda is tied for the team lead with seven wins but his 4.35 is at its highest since mid-May and will have to battle through this bump in the road. Miranda still possesses value in AL-only formats but it is fair to question whether he is running out of gas with an already career high 109 2/3 innings pitched this season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
