Recent Update

7/9:Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Brent Suter went 6 1/3 innings Saturday versus the Yankees, allowing two runs with five strikeouts. He was dominant for six scoreless innings before the Yankees locked in at the start of the seventh. Suter has now gone 12 1/3 innings allowing two runs in his two starts for Chase Anderson. It has been reported that Suter will remain in the starting rotation after the All-Star break. As long as he keeps pitching well, the Brewers are likely to keep sending him out there. He is a young pitcher with upside that he is showing right now.--Jamie Mellor - RotoBaller

  • @Todd_Rosiak: After intentionally walking Andrew McCutchen to load the bases, Suter makes way for Rob Scahill. Two down in a 2-2 game.
  • @Todd_Rosiak: And now Kuhl and Harrison follow with singles. Pirates making lots of solid contact this inning against Suter.
  • @Todd_Rosiak: Single and double to open the fifth, and the Pirates are back in it, 2-1. Arcia’s throw home is wild, Suter can’t corral it, runner on 3rd.
  • @Todd_Rosiak: The Brewers go down in order in the fifth against Kuhl. Suter at 54 pitches.
  • @Todd_Rosiak: Suter keeps on rolling as he works around a leadoff single by Francisco Cervelli. Brewers lead, 2-0, heading to the fifth.
