Recent Update

9/20:Philadelphia Phillies ace Aaron Nola put together his second consecutive quality start en route to victory against the flailing Los Angeles Dodgers. The 24-year-old allowed two runs on five hits and two walks across seven innings of work, striking out eight along the way. His two runs surrendered came in the third and fourth inning, and it appeared that he wouldn’t receive any support as evidenced by the first five innings. In the sixth, the offense finally got on the board, but it was the seventh that put them ahead for good. The Phillies put together four runs in the seventh, a decisive swing that put them ahead though the end. The victory improved Nola’s record to 12-10 on the season, while his ERA now stands at 3.56 on the year.--Ricky Delgado - RotoBaller

  • @ryanlawrence21: @joekornik eh, that's any pitcher any year. bigger issue is putting other pitchers around Nola.
  • @ryanlawrence21: Nola's ultra-quality start (7 IP, 2 ER or fewer) was his 12th of season. Same number as Greinke. Only Kershaw (15), Scherzer (14) have more.
