Recent Update

5/25:Boston Red Sox outfielder Jackie Bradley will return to the lineup Thursday night. He will start in center field and bat in the No. 7 spot. Outfielder Chris Young got the start last night for JBJ, as there was a lefty on the mound. After a breakout 2016 campaign in which Bradley hit .267 with 26 home runs and 87 RBI, the outfielder has struggled thus far. For the season, JBJ has hit .200 with four home runs and 11 RBI. Given his potential, he is worth holding onto in AL-only and mixed leagues. The hope is that his benching last night will be spark the outfielder.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller

  • @alexspeier: Great play off the wall by Bradley to set up what is initially called an 8-6-2 putout. Under review.

  • @PeteAbe: @_darkman44 You see Bradley’s catch last night? Up to your standard, Cam.
  • @PeteAbe: So much for momentum. #RedSox waste Sale’s strong start and Bradley’s amazing catch in a 3-2 loss at Oakland: https://t.co/MaX4oSM3vI
  • @PeteAbe: Mookie Betts on Jackie’s Bradley Jr.’s catch: “I saw him time it up. I know it sounds bad, but we all expected he would do that.”
  • @PeteAbe: @mjvulch So no fortitude by Kimbrel, Betts, Bogaerts, Moreland, Benintendi, Pedroia, Leon, Bradley, Vazquez, Scott? None?
  • @PeteAbe: Sale said, “Now we’re going to win this game” when he saw Bradley’s catch. Sure he wasn’t alone there.
  • @PeteAbe: Bradley’s catch at its apex. Make that into a bobblehead. https://t.co/xXIeBJUNEp
  • @alexspeier: Kiermaier, Bradley, Pillar, each of whom might be better than any AL East CF I'd covered pre-2014, are in same division at same time. Absurd
  • @alexspeier: Bradley's catch goes head-to-head with Kiermaier's from 2 days ago:

  • @PeteAbe: Bradley lined that up and caught it like he knew he had it the whole time, which I suspect he did.
  • @alexspeier: Jackie Bradley's refusal to acknowledge the awesomeness of his catch elevated it to epic status.
  • @PeteAbe: Jackie Bradley Jr. thievery sends the game into extra innings. What a catch.
