Recent Update

6/6:For the sixth time in seven games, the Toronto Blue Jays will start backup catcher Luke Maile. Russell Martin, who returned from a neck injury and went 0-for-4 last night, will again be on the bench. In his five starts in place of Martin, Maile has made the most of his opportunity. He is 6-for-16 with one home run and two RBI. He will slot into the No. 9 spot tonight versus the Oakland Athletics. He makes for a cheap daily play. He should remain on the waiver wire in both AL-only and mixed leagues. Expect more information on Martin, as it is unknown if he is resting due to his recent neck injury or if it is just a standard day off.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
