Recent Update

9/21:Aaron Altherr has had himself a fantastic series against the Dodgers for the Phillies, who shockingly defeated the National League’s best club for a third straight game. The 26-year-old, who hit a grand slam off Clayton Kershaw on Monday, recorded the decisive hits tonight. First, he stepped up to the plate in the seventh inning and delivered a game-tying, two-run home run to left, beginning a final rally that would prove decisive. Another home run in the inning put the Phillies ahead, but not for long. In the eighth inning, the Dodgers would tie the game, but Altherr returned for one more plate appearance in the eighth. With runners on, he delivered a single to deep right, driving in the two winning runs.--Ricky Delgado - RotoBaller
