Recent Update

3 days agoMinnesota Twins first baseman/catcher Willians Astudillo went 2-for-4 with a solo homer in a 6-5 win over the Baltimore Orioles in the first game of a doubleheader on Saturday. Astudillo has been excellent in limited playing time this season, putting up a .308 average, two homers, nine runs, and five RBI in 39 at-bats. The 27-year-old has proven to be versatile in the field for the Twins, playing games at catcher, first base, third base, and the outfield. He really only holds fantasy value at the catcher position, but considering the lack of quality options at the position, that is all he needs to merit rostering in mixed leagues.--Matt Terelle - RotoBaller
