Recent Update

5/5:Neil Ramirez is currently going home to mourn the death of a family member, so the Chicago Cubs placed him on the bereavement list. This allowed them to call up Spencer Patton, a right-hander that will add a fresh arm to their bullpen. In the minors, he currently has 17 strikeouts in 10 scoreless innings. He has a lot of talent, and even after Ramirez returns, the Cubs may adjust their roster to keep him in the majors. He is a relief pitcher worth looking into in season-long leagues that require it.--Jason Bales - RotoBaller

  • @Metstradamus: Save this tweet and tag me with it in five years when I claim not to remember that Neil Ramirez was a Met.
  • @Metstradamus: Paul Sewald, with decent stats, gets to pitch with a 7-1 lead. Neil Ramirez, he of the ERA over ten, gets one run leads.
  • @robertbrender: Never say never. Ramirez, Montero, etc. It could stay like this. https://t.co/gELbxZbVL7
  • @MarcCarig: And now TC comes out to get Ramirez.
  • @MarcCarig: And Mercer has doubled to lead it off against Neil Ramirez, who is so far down the totem pole he didn’t pitch in yesterday’s blowout.
  • @MarcCarig: Neil Ramirez is in this game. A one-run game. In the seventh.
  • @MarcCarig: Of course, TC didn’t have Blevins or Sewald because they were used in yesterday’s blowout, which Ramirez or Montero could have handled.
  • @Metstradamus: NEIL RAMIREZ!!! FOR #$@& SAKE!!!
  • @Metstradamus: RT @MikeSilvaMedia: Tell me if I am right: beat reporters bring up Ramirez and Collins goes fake tough guy on them and they move on
  • @MarcCarig: Here’s the last time Myers faced Ramirez before tonight. https://t.co/zdx1EyEex2
  • @Metstradamus: Neil Ramirez is trending on twitter. That's how mad Terry makes people.
  • @Metstradamus: Because that's why we got Neil Ramirez. To face Wil Myers with the bases loaded. Makes me want to stick my head in the toliet and flush.
  • @MarcCarig: How the hell did that stay in the park. Like inches away from a slam. Instead, it’s a two-run single and Ramirez is done.
  • @MarcCarig: Fernando Salas got two outs, then single, walk, walk, trouble. Neil Ramirez is in the game in a high leverage spot.
