Recent Update

2 weeks agoChicago Cubs relief pitcher Steve Cishek could be the next man up for the ninth-inning role on the north side. Manager Joe Maddon told reporters that he will go with a closer-by-committee. Pedro Strop (hamstring) has been placed on the injured list, so Cishek is likely the next man up. The two most likely candidates are Cishek and Carl Edwards Jr., but who knows with Maddon. Cishek is worth looking at in fantasy leagues, but maybe take the wait-and-see approach here.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
