Well yesterday's performance was just one of those days that everything went wrong. So what did I do? Did I sulk? No way, Jose! Sometimes things like that just happen! So, I sat down last night and searched and studied harder than ever to come up with ideal situations for our hitters today. I'm going straight to the point today: let's win our money back!
Picks to Click for August 1, 2013:
P Yu Darvish $9600 - I was shocked that his price was under $10K-- he's actually got some real value here. I'm hating on the DBacks for last night, so lets go hard with Darvish and strike out 10+.
C Buster Posey $3500 - He's been cold, so his price has plummeted. Posey still smashes lefties and is 5-for-7 with a homer and 5 RBI versus Cole Hamels.
1B Freddie Freeman $3700 - If there is one thing I have learned from playing fantasy baseball everyday, it's to hop on the hot-hitter train, and Freeman is averaging over 12 points per game in his last two contests.
2B Chase Utley $3400 - Hot hitter, cheap price. Four homers off of Cain in just 23 at -bats.
SS Brad Miller $3200 - Miller has hit all of his home runs off of righties on the year, and Dempster allows substantially more homers to righties than lefties. I see the Mariners scoring a few runs today and their leadoff man should most definitely be involved.
