MLB DFS: DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (9/19/24) - Today's Top Lineups

Bryce Harper - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, MLB Injury News, DFS Lineup Picks

Free daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for today's slate on DraftKings, FanDuel. Use Euan's MLB DFS expert picks to build winning DFS lineups on September 19, 2024.

Happy Thursday, RotoBallers! It's hard to believe we are already on our second to last Thursday of the 2024 regular season. Every game means a little more to those teams chasing a playoff spot. So platoon hitters could see a few less or extra at-bats depending on the matchup.

For Thursday's six-game slate, DFS managers can expect Mets players to be quite popular. Taijuan Walker has a 9.17 ERA, 2.09 WHIP, and a double-check-inducing 2.4 percent K-BB rate. The New York Grimaces should be grinning by the end of Thursday's contest.

This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 9/19/2024 and the slate locking at 6:50 p.m. EDT. The lineup picks will range from some elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is also essential.

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Yusei Kikuchi - LHP, HOU vs. Angels ($9.9K DraftKings; $10.8K FanDuel)

Since the All-Star break, Yusei Kikuchi's been rocking a 4.06 ERA, 1.08 WHIP, and a 30.3 percent strikeout rate. That strikeout rate leads the 12 pitchers on tonight's slate, and the ERA is high compared to his 2.98 xGIP and 3.12 SIERA.

Los Angeles will be an easy matchup for Houston's lefty. Over the last month, the Angels whiff the seventh-most (25.8 percent) when facing Southpaws. Plus, they own the fourth-worst OPS (.577) and wOBA (.240) in that same span.

Erick Fedde - RHP, STL vs. Pirates ($7.6K DK; $8.3K FD)

There are enough good pitchers on FanDuel that Erick Fedde doesn't need to be considered over there. However, he's a viable SP2 candidate on DraftKings. In his last 12 starts, Fedde's scored more than 17 DK points six times. Two of those occasions came against Pittsburgh.

Combine his (small) track record versus the Pirates and the fact he's got at least seven strikeouts in two of his last four outings, and you've got a recipe for an SP2 with upside. Pittsburgh also sports the second-worst ISO (.129) against righties since Aug. 20.

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Bryce Harper - 1B, PHI at Luis Severino ($5.7K DK; $3.8K FD)

When Bryce Harper is feeling it, you want him in your DFS squad. The two-time MVP is on a six-game on-base streak, and he's smashed three home runs with two multi-hit efforts in that stretch. Harper has two home runs and a 3.333 OPS in three at-bats versus Luis Severino.

Jonathan Aranda - 1B/2B/3B, TB vs. Brayan Bello ($2.7K DK; $2.3K FD)

FanDuel has priced Jonathan Aranda as the 33rd most-expensive second baseman on tonight's six-game slate. That's a massive mispricing, considering he's the third-highest scorer at the position over the last 10 days. Plus, he's batting in the heart of Tampa Bay's order. He's too cheap on both sites and a massive value on Thursday.

Isiah Kiner-Falefa - 2B/3B/SS, PIT at Erick Fedde ($4.0K DK; $2.7K FD)

While Erick Fedde is a recommended arm on tonight's slate. Isiah Kiner-Falefa should still be in a DFS manager's player pool. Pittsburgh's leadoff man has three multi-hit outings in his last four games and three doubles to showcase some power for the versatile bat.

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Kyle Tucker - OF, HOU vs. Jose Suarez ($5.6K DK; $3.9K FD)

After an extended absence, Kyle Tucker has finally returned to the Astros lineup. He sat on Wednesday as he works his way back into everyday fitness, but the early signs are strong in his return. Over the last week, King Tuck has a .985 OPS with five runs, two RBI, a double, and a home run.

Ian Happ - OF, CHC vs. Patrick Corbin ($4.5K DK; $3.5K FD)

Compared to his FanDuel price, Ian Happ is underrated on DraftKings. Among outfielders, he's the 11th-highest scoring player over the last 10 games but is priced as the 16th most-expensive outfielder on DK. Over the last week, Happ smashed two home runs with a .956 OPS and stolen two bases.

Garrett Mitchell - OF, MIL at Brandon Pfaadt ($3.2K DK; $2.5K FD)

Arizona is deploying right-handed Brandon Pfaadt to the mound for Thursday's game, and that'll see Garrett Mitchell resume his regular role in Milwaukee's lineup. The outfielder has a .932 OPS over the last month and hits fourth in the Brewers batting order.

DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks

1. Houston Astros vs. Jose Suarez - LHP, LAA

Favorite Plays: Jose Altuve, Yordan Alvarez, Kyle Tucker

2. Chicago Cubs vs. Patrick Corbin - LHP, WSH

Favorite Plays: Cody Bellinger, Michael Busch, Nico Hoerner

3.  New York Mets vs. Taijuan Walker - RHP, PHI

Favorite Plays: Kyle Schwarber, Bryce Harper, Brandon Marsh
