Kansas City Royals @ Boston Red Sox (-185)

O/U: 10.5

The Red Sox snapped their eight-game losing streak against the Royals on Monday night, as Kansas City proved to be the elixir to their ills. Now, they'll look to build upon the momentum in Game 2 with RHP Andrew Cashner on the bump against the shaky RHP Jakob Junis.

The Royals have coughed up 10 of the past 11 games, and they're 24-58 in the past 82 games on the road. With Junis on the hill, K.C. has won just two of the past eight, and they're 2-6 in his past eight starts against AL East teams, too. In addition, the Royals are just 8-20 in the past 28 starts by Junis against teams with a winning overall mark.

While Boston is still just 1-8 in the past nine overall, and 1-4 in their past five at Fenway, they have rattled off 17 victories in the past 22 against AL Central foes. Take the Red Sox, and take them on the run line for a better value.

My Pick: Red Sox (-1.5, -115)

Atlanta Braves @ Minnesota Twins (-155)

O/U: 10

The Braves recall RHP Mike Foltynewicz from Triple-A Gwinnett after his banishment to the minors. While he regained his form in the minors, facing the Twins is a completely different story.

The Twins have their All-Star, RHP Jose Berrios, on the hill, and they're 25-9 across his past 34 showings at Target Field, and 9-4 in his past 13 at home against teams with a winning overall record. Minnesota is also 41-18 in the past 59 at home against a right-handed starter.

For the Braves, they're 4-9 in Foltynewicz's past 13 outings, and 3-10 in his past 13 against teams with a winning record. Until Foltynewicz's regains his 2018 All-Star form, keep fading him.

My Pick: Twins (-155)

Philadelphia Phillies (+105) @ Arizona Diamondbacks

O/U: 9.5

The Phillies have struggled over the years against the Diamondbacks, going just 5-12 in the past 17 meetings overall, and 2-5 in the past seven trips to the desert.

While that's all well in good, it's past history. Recently, Philly has been hot and Arizona has certainly struggled. The Phils are 4-0 in the past four games on the road, 4-1 in the past five against National League West opponents while winning five of the past six on the road vs. RHP. They're also 8-0 in the past eight appearances on Tuesday, for whatever that's worth. Philly has also won five of the past seven starts by RHP Jake Arrieta, while cashing in each of his past five when working on four days of rest.

For the D-Backs, they're 2-10 in the past 12 appearances on a Tuesday, 1-4 in the past five vs. RHP and 8-17 in the past 25 during Game 2 of a series. They're also 1-4 in the past five outings against a starting pitcher with a WHIP greater than 1.30.

My Pick: Phillies (+105)
