ANALYSIS: Detroit Tigers third baseman/outfielder Matt Vierling is enjoying a nice breakout campaign in 2024. The 27-year-old is hitting .282 with seven home runs, eight doubles, and 28 RBI this season. Those numbers at the plate have pushed him atop the Tigers' lineup, where he has batted in the lead-off spot in six of the past seven games.
It's hard to ignore what Vierling has done this season, especially as of late. From May 19 to May 29, the utility specialist went 12-for-29 (.414 average) with four HRs and 13 RBI in an eight-game span. While he hasn't totaled a home run or RBI since May 29, he still has provided fantasy managers with some value.

That makes Vierling a nice add in 10-plus team leagues heading into Week 12 (June 10 to June 16). He has long-term fantasy value while hitting atop Detroit's lineup, so grab him now before your league mates do .
