LPL & LCK DFS Picks (2/24/22) - DraftKings and FanDuel League of Legends Daily Fantasy

Nolan's expert League of Legends (LoL) DFS advice and DraftKings, FanDuel lineup picks for LPL & LCK on 2/24/22. His top LoL value plays and eSports DFS recommendations.

Welcome back to another League of Legends DFS fantasy slate! We have a great 4 game slate on the board today.

Roster changes will be addressed if need be when mentioning each team.  As a friendly reminder, if you can't stomach any sub risk or don't enjoy waking up early, then figure a way to roster players that don't hold any sub risk. The LCK is tricky when it comes to starting lineups, and we are usually given the LCK starting lineups about an hour or so before lock, for the first series. (@KorizonEsports on Twitter is a good lineup source, as well as @kenzi131) In this case, we probably won't get LCK lineups before the 2:00 AM lock, so we are going to try and project starters based on new additions. LPL starters are found earlier and on Twitter too.

I'll provide my League of Legends DFS advice, analysis, and lineup picks for this LPL & LCK slate on DraftKings and FanDuel that locks at 3:00 AM EST on Thursday, February 24th, 2022. If you have any questions about the slate or anything please reach out to me on Twitter @nolanroth10. I'll do my best to provide some useful analysis, and the odds listed are from Pinnacle. Let's jump right into the matchups, and good luck RotoBallers.

LCK Matches

3:00 AM: BRO (+180) vs. DRX (-240)

DRX is one game over .500 at 12-11 in 23 games, meanwhile, BRO is 10-16 in 26 games this split. BRO has dropped 3 straight matches and I expect it to be 4 in a row by Thursday afternoon. DRX did drop 2 straight to a poor HLE team last time out but was on a 6 match win streak before that game.

DRX ADC Deft leads the team in both kill share and kill participation. With numbers like that, Deft is a clear captain target. Support Beryl carries a 72.8% KP and it is clear that DRX looks to play around their bot lane duo. Top laner Kingen is second on the team in kill share at 20.1%, which is a low number for being second on the team, making the remaining members of DRX as add ons in stacks as appose to captaining them.

Top BRO plays: Lava, Delight, UmTi

Top DRX plays: Deft, BeryL, Kingen, Pyosik

5:00 AM: LSB (-) vs. HLE (+)

At the time of writing this, the odds were not released for the LSB/HLE game. HLE should be favored as LSB is arguably the worst team in the LCK. LSB is 7-16 on the year which is good for last place in the LCK, HLE, on the other hand, is 10-15 which is also not very good, but a step up from LSB.

HLE has played all 25 games this split with the same roster which is nice as the sub risk is very minimal if it exists at all. Mid laner Karis and Support Vsta are the two members above 70% kill participation. SamD carries a 31.7% KS and has 23 more kills than the next closest member. These 3 are the clear targets for HLE. DuDu has the lowest KP% meanwhile OnFleek has the lowest KS% minus the support. I would lean OnFleek as my 4th in 4 man stacks but both are in play

Top HLE plays: Karis, SamD, Vsta, OnFleek, Dudu

LPL Matches

4:00 AM: WE (+425) vs. BLG (-700)

BLG is my favorite team to target on the slate. That being said they are also the most expensive team on the slate which makes playing the right members even more important.

Doggo has been announced as the starter, Doggo has exceptional numbers this split, but the legend Uzi is lurking behind and had a great showing in his brief insert into the starting 5. Doggo and WeiWei are sitting above 70% KP with FoFo and Criso just below. Doggo sits at a 30.9% KS with Breathe and FoFo coming in at 26 and 20%. Crisp would be my odd man out of 4 man stacks but he is certainly still playable in the series

Top BLG plays: Play them all!

6:00 AM: LNG (-115) vs. WBG (-115)

The late-game hammer is going to be a great one! We get two of the top five teams in the LPL going head to head here and as seen by the even odds this should be an extremely close series. I don't have a great feel for how this matchup will go, so I will analyze both teams. For what it's worth WBG is the cheaper team on the slate.

LNG is 15-6 on the split and has been led by Light and Doinb. Jungler Tarzan seems to be involved anytime LNG wins a fight as seen by his 78% KP. While I do think top laner Ale is a good player, his numbers this split have been very mediocre. He sits at 46% KP and 17.2% KS making him the clear fade choice from this team.

WBG is 15-5 on the split and the majority of the team's kills have been coming from Huanfeng and Angel who combine for 62% of the team's kills. No one on WBG is above the 70% mark for KP however everyone but TheShy sits in the 62-67% mark. Much like LNG and Ale, TheShy's numbers have been poor compared to the rest of the team making him my fade in WBG stacks.

Top LNG plays: Light, Doinb, Tarzan, LvMao

Top WBG plays: Huanfeng, Angel, SofM, ON

Summary

  1. TLDR: BLG favorite team to target, HLE and DRX should grab wins as well. WBG/LNG is a toss-up
  2. GPP Stacks: My favorite combinations for GPP stacks are WBG/BLG/DRX
  3. Cash Stacks: For cash, I am rocking with BLG/HLE

Good luck tomorrow RotoBallers!
