Hey guys Bobby and I will be answering questions starting at 8! Feel free to start sending them in

Who would you have drafted #1 overall? Le'Bell, Adrian Peterson, Eddie Lacy or Jamaal Charles?

I don't think there is really a wrong answer there and it comes down to personal preference. For me it is Lacy. He is in a great offense and he is the safest RB in terms of yardage and touchdown chance.

It's a toss up between Charles or Lacy for me. I don't think you can go wrong either way. I really think Lacy is going to continue to perform and get even better this year though.

Lacy is on a streak of 9 straight games with 100+ total yards, thats the kind of safety I'm talking about

So who do you like T.J. Yeldon, Melvin Gordon or Golden Tate as a flex in non ppr?

I'm probably avoiding Gordon in week 1. struggled in the preseason and Philip Rivers has emphasized it will be a committee to start

Yeldon/Tate is a tough call but I lean Tate.

Tate is the safest option there especially with yeldon also supposedly in a RBBC (which btw shouldn't last long)

Will Carlos Hyde be a good rb2 or better to try shipping him off now to someone desperate at rb?

I like Gordon the best of those three personally.

I better hope Hyde will be an RB2. I somehow ended up with him as my main RB in one league aside from Chris Ivory. That said, the Niners don't seem to have much talent left after this offseason. I'd be trying to sell to see if anyone would bite for someone I felt a bit more secure with (which is what I'm doing in said league)

I actually like Hyde and I'm pretty comfortable with him as an RB2. Despite several key losses I don't think the 49ers are a dumpster fire. I think he should see plenty of touches per game and he'll be decently productive with them

Breshad Perriman worth stashing?

Perriman isn't worth a stash unless you're in a keeper format or really deep benches. In which case I have a hard time imagining he's on your waiver.

It depends on how deep the league/bench is. It seems like Breshad Perriman is out for at least 2 games. In a 10 team league, I'd rather grab an upside player that might return value right away. In a deeper league maaaybe. It really all depends on what else is out there but most likely again there are probably other players I'd like to take a chance on while he is still recovering

Who is the best add Matt Jones, Cameron Artis-Payne or Jordan Reed 10 team Half PPR keeper league .. Jordan Cameron is my only TE

For me it's between Jones or CAP (Artis-Payne). I don't hate Reed but I don't want to roster 2 TEs in a 10 team league. I think Jones has more upside but CAP is probably more likely to get significant playing time behind Jonathan Stewart. Kind of a judgment call at that point, I'd go Matt Jones

I agree it's a toss up between the two. I don't have a ton of faith in Jstew so I mean lean CAP but can't argue the Matt Jones call.

Matt jones or Karlos Williams for bench stash

Matt Jones for me. Lot of talk about him eating into Morris' carries already and while I know a lot of people are down on Shady-he's still LeSean McCoy.

both Jones and Williams impressed in the preseason. You have to ask yourself who is more likely to start. Neither has a clear path so its tough but I think its Matt Jones. There is a real chance things get real bad in Washington this year and they just mix it up for the sake of changing things

Think Morris' backup has a better shot at being relevant

one shady injury away from starting

Yeah of course LeSean was already hurt but in general he has been pretty healthy throughout his career.

I'm not banking on an injury from either

choose 1: Anquan boldin, Pierre Garcon, Martavis Bryant. He will be your 3 WR in a 2 WR 1 flex format. You 3-4 solid running back

Assuming you know Martavis is suspended for 4 games. I still like Martavis the most. He is the only one of the three that has tremendous upside. Not really a Garcon fan as long as DeSean Jackson is healthy. I like Boldin but you know what you are getting with him. A steady flow of points but nothing huge. Martavis on the other hand has potential to catch a 50 yard pass in any game

I agree since it's a two wr league you want the player with the upside and thats Martavis

BTW, I really like the Fred Jackson stash. Will def catch some balls and if ML goes down could be huge for a few weeks

I don't have much to add to that except that I agree with you Rolf. Fred Jackson is the fantasy frankenstein. Always finds a way to be relevant.

Obviously Marshawn Lynch is still the clear #1 in Seattle but I like the Fjax signing! He is an excellent pass catching back and a great teammate. Not likely to have a huge fantasy impact but I could see him worth owning in like a 14 team PPR league

If you own Lynch too, you now have a very clear handcuff

I'm in a bind with spiller and leveon out. Plus I traded mccoy for randall cobb. So I have yeldon and deangelo williams as my two starting rbs with cobb, deandre hopkins, and amari cooper starting. Should I start deangelo williams or reggie bush in a half ppr league this week?

Deangelo. Guaranteed touches at least and Bush looked terrible after his ankle injuries last year.

Week 1 and you've already got a really tough situation at RB! I would go with DeAngelo just because he is the starter and they really don't have anything else at RB. I'm not a big DeAngelo fan but he should get 15+ touches. We really don't know what Bush is going to get but we know he's not the primary back

Odell Beckham Jr: 10 TD's - Over/Under?

I'll take the over on 10 touchdowns for Odell. Already had 12 last year and having seen several Giants games I don't think he was a fluke in any way. Even with some red zone regression, I think 11+ touchdowns is a reasonable expectation in 16 games (vs 12 last year)

Can I take the line? I know. I know. Blasphemy from a giants fan. I just think he gets covered too much.

He was seeing major defensive attention at the end of last season right? Had 6 touchdowns over the final three games

If anything he got even better once teams knew how good he was!!

It's not just the coverage though. I think Victor Cruz will come back and be a RZ target even if not the player he once was.

I'm honestly not very high on Cruz. We'll see!

And you'll have the occasional dumb pass that rueben randle miraculously pulls down (you should never target randle)

Tyler Eifert or Owen Daniels? With Kubiak Daniels might get his break, any thoughts?

If any of you have been reading my articles here on the site, you'll know I'm a big fan of Eifert. For me it's Eifert no question. The Kubiak love for Daniels is real but he is old and just doesn't move that well.

It's a toss up for me. I do love daniels in Kubiak's system but Eifert has more upside probably. I don't think you can go wrong if that's your choice.

Any sophomore slumps this year?

Jarvis Landry. I love the Dolphins but too many cooks in the kitchen. Additionally, Devante Parker is going to come in and steal the show.

Hmmm. I really love Mike Evans but I am definitely worried about potential touchdown regression and whether a rookie QB can feed two receivers (Vincent Jackson as well) the ball a ton. I also wonder about how much Sammy Watkins can do with Tyrod Taylor and co throwing him the ball.

I don't really think Landry will have a slump exactly, but he won't get better. He was only WR48 in standard scoring last year, but you wouldn't know it the way people talk about him.

I've seen him drafted as a WR1. I just don't see it.

Breakout player of the year guys?

So many not slump but I don't think he'll live up to expectations.

agreed!

Travis Kelce! CHUGA CHUGA CHOO. I know that seems like a cheap answer but man am I excited with Anthony Fasano gone.

hmmmm breakout player of the year.....I'm going to go with Jordan Matthews. I love that kid and I love the Eagles offense. If he could be WR12 over the final 8 games with Mark Sanchez, imagine what he can do as the primary receiver with Sam Bradford

As a bonus-not the breakout of the year but-Chris Ivory is due for a career year.

I agree Jordan Matthews is gonna wreck this season

No love for Brandin Cooks as breakout?

I think we both really like Cooks but we could only choose one guy! Cooks would be in my top three probably, and Rek's as well

I love Cooks personally. In fact, he's carrying my dynasty team this year hopefully.

Our hour is almost up so just a couple more questions!!

Can Jordan Cameron be a top 5 TE or no

I think we have to go back to what Rek mentioned about too many cooks in the Dolphins offense and Ryan Tannehill. with the additions of DeVante Parker and Kenny Stills as well, its going to be pretty hard for Cameron to have a super high upside. I like him and I think hitting TE5 on the dot is possible but not exactly likely. I do feel pretty good about him in the TE6-10 range

With Cameron-my answer is most likely not. Again-too many mouths to fed.

Any chance Giovanni Bernard will have an amazing season with Jeremy Hill back. When Hill came back last year he dwindled

One Gio went down with an injury, it was all Jeremy Hill. even when Gio came back he was clearly outplayed by Hill. I think Gio can have a decent PPR season but no, I don't see him having an amazing season.

Gio is a great back. He just ran into bad luck. Still think he has great ppr value. I wish another team would trade for Gio because he could still be a starting back on another team.

Which rookie running back will have the best season?

Todd Gurley may not have the most fantasy points but I think once he is fully healthy and comfortable he is the best. I predict he has the most fantasy points in the second half of the season but....I'll say Tevin Coleman has the most fantasy points overall.

I was going to say Gurley if healthy. I'll go with Gordon as my choice. Seems pretty safe.

Yeah I was thinking coleman or yeldon

No fantasy hope for Devonta Freeman?

I don't like Devonta Freeman at all. With Tevin Coleman named starter, I don't think he looks back

Dorial Green-Beckham going to be fantasy relevant this year or does he need to much work?

DGB will be our last one. I think he can be fantasy relevant. They only have four WRs on the roster right now and I'll take DGB over Justin Hunter or Harry Douglas

DGB is a very raw talent. However, he has more talent than any other Titan receiver not named Kendall Wright.

The Titans will want Marcus Mariota to build chemistry with him quickly.

So I do think he'll have relevance

Like most rookies I'd temper expectations early but just because they are so thin at the position he'll have plenty of opportunities this season. It might not work out but it definitely could

Thanks guys!

Thanks Zach and Bobby for the insight

Thanks guys, we had a blast as always. Predictions for the opening game?

Always a good time! And Pats 28-Steelers-24

21-7

Pats win massive shootout.

< I also recall I was wrong about almost every score guess I made last season

let's see if that continues this year

I think Pats win 31-24. Antonio Brown clears the 100 yard mark, Rob Gronkowski scores but the loss of Le'Veon and Martavis is too much for the Steelers

Yeah I think Pats in a shoot out, 35-31

If we didn't answer your question here, feel free to tweet us @LopsidedTrades and @RekedFantasy!

I expect something crazy, like Madden 06 48-45 or something. Both secondaries are bad with HOF QBs teeing off

Have a good night everyone. Enjoy kickoff tomorrow!

Without Le'veon it's tough to see Steelers getting the edge

Have a good one

With that, we are closing up the chat. Thanks for coming guys. We'll be on again next week. Any questions we didn't get to - feel free to tweet us. I'm @LopsidedTrades and Rek is @RekedFantasy

Thanks guys, peace!
