ANALYSIS: To say that Kyle Korver may have the wettest jump shot out of anyone since he's been in the NBA, may be an understatement. The veteran sharp-shooter has led the league in three-point field goal percentage an astounding four times, and he has averaged a 43.1% success rate from beyond the arc across his 16-year career with five different squads (Philadelphia, Utah, Chicago, Atlanta, Cleveland). To start the 2018-2019 season with the Cavaliers, Korver saw his time on the floor reduced to his lowest mark since his rookie campaign as a member of the 76ers (15.7 minutes per game). Then he was dealt to the Utah Jazz, and with this, he was presented with a new breath of life.

Since making his return to Salt Lake City, Korver has averaged 10.0 points and 2.0 rebounds in 20.2 minutes per game so far through 25 contests. Most important, Korver has once again been green lighted to resume his role as a long-range bomber, as he is currently making 2.2 shots from downtown per outing out of 5.4 attempts for a 41.5% conversion rate. Korver has picked up the pace considerably of late. Since January 12th against the Bulls he has put up 15.3 points and 2.8 rebounds in anywhere from 22 to 32 minutes a night. He has also been particularly dialed in from deep, as he has drained 14 out of 27 three-pointers over this four-game span for a ridiculous success rate of 51.9%. With several Jazz guards and forwards like Dante Exum, Raul Neto, Ricky Rubio, and Thabo Sefolosha currently out with injuries, it remains in the back of one's mind that Korver could see a slight reduction in minutes and role prominence once these guys steadily return. Even if that occurs, Kyle Korver never needs a ton of time to make his impact on the court known. With his greater level of playing time coupled with his lights-out shooting over this most recent stretch for the Jazz, he is an asset of considerable value in deeper leagues.
