Keon Broxton (OF, BAL) - Week 10 Waiver Wire Pickups

BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues

OWNED IN: 1% of Yahoo! leagues

ANALYSIS: After limping to a .143 average out of the gate with the Mets, Keon Broxton was flipped to the Orioles. He's thrived in a small sample size in Baltimore, hitting .318/.348/.636 with a pair of home runs and a stolen base in just six games played.

Of course, Broxton has gotten hot at the plate before, and it's not like we can just ignore his horrific 40% strikeout rate this season, as that has long been a problem for the toolsy outfielder.

Still, it's nice to see a change of scenery help Broxton's bat get hot, and it's not like there is much competition for an everyday role in Baltimore's outfield. As long as he is playing everyday, he is worth a look in 14+ team leagues and AL-only formats. His combination of power and speed can be elite when he's getting on base.

After all, it was only two years ago that he posted a 20 home run, 21 stolen base season. It's not crazy to imagine him approaching that again this year, although it will come with a horrific batting average.
