BALLER MOVE: Add In 14-Team Leagues

OWNED IN: 9% of leagues

ANALYSIS: It's hard to find space to shine when you play in the frontcourt of the extremely young and talented Sacramento Kings squad, but Justin Jackson has still found a window to demonstrate his skills in his recent performances. Last season, Jackson averaged 22.1 minutes per game and was a part of the starting lineup in 41 out of 68 outings. This season, Jackson's playing time has decreased to 21.9 minutes per contest while he has only been in the starting five in three out of 42 games. However, his on-court performance and efficiency has actually stepped up. Jackson is averaging a career-high figure for points (7.3), rebounds (3.0), and assists (1.4), though his biggest improvement has been in the 1.2 three-pointers he's been draining out of 3.2 nightly attempts for a solid long-range success rate of 36.8%. While Jackson's high-scoring games have subsided in the most recent contests for Sacramento, his offensive efficiency is telling. His effective field goal percentage of 53.6% ranks fifth on the Kings roster, while his true shooting percentage of 56.4% is fourth-best on the team.

Justin Jackson is still considerably behind in the Sacramento pecking order as a 6-8 small forward, as he loses minutes to Kings big men such as Willie Cauley-Stein, Marvin Bagley, and Kosta Koufos, as well as well-rounded forwards like Nemanja Bjelica and Iman Shumpert. However, with his size and accuracy in shooting from long-distance paired with the Sacramento Kings need as an organization to monitor the development of certain core young players, Jackson is an asset of value for the time being in deep leagues.
