Josh Reddick (OF, HOU) - Week 6 Waiver Wire Pickups

Kyle Bishop profiles Astros outfielder Josh Reddick as a waiver wire pickup and add in Week 6 of the 2019 MLB season.

BALLER MOVE: Add in All Leagues

OWNED IN: 25% of leagues

ANALYSIS: 2018 was a mixed bag for Josh Reddick, as he posted the third-highest home run total of his career but also saw his average plummet to .242, over 70 points lower than the season before. Thus far this season, the modest pop has remained and average has returned. The 32-year-old is currently hitting .344/.394/.469 with three homers and a stolen base through 27 games. He's tallied multiple hits in 10 of those contests, and failed to reach base in only four.

Reddick isn't exactly known for being an iron man - he has logged 600 plate appearances only once in his MLB career, way back in 2012 - but for as long as he can avoid the injured list, he's a solid if unspectacular contributor in almost any format. You can add him freely in three-quarters of Yahoo leagues right now.
